November 1, 6:00 PM. Natural History Museum

It was late at night and the museum was nice and quiet. The museum was excited for the latest exhibit, The Mystery of the Tablet of Chaos and Order. The security cameras were on the Tablet at all times, while the Tablet was under a protective glass that would set an alarm off when removed. A man threw something at the security cameras and disabled them. He walked across the room, noticed the lack of security the museum had for the Tablet.

"C'est magnifique, all too easy." Said the thief in a cajun accent. As he reached over for the Tablet, his right forearm gets scratched by some sort of claw grappling hook. He looks over to see who attacked him, and saw a girl with long white hair, wearing a dark blue mask over her eyes, as well as dark blue suit.

"Well now, look like dis city is starting to become a breeding ground for new heroes."

"Sorry good looking, this kitty ain't interested in playing heroics."

"I see mon petit, why don't we take this Tablet together and split the money 50-50?"

"Sorry, I know how much this is worth, I'm not going to give that up that easily."

"I see, look like we goin to duel, by the way the name is Gambit, remember it." He leaps forward with his staff tries to slam the staff down, the female thief does a backward somersault and uses her claws to swipe at Gambit.

"Pleasure to meet you, I'll try to remember that." Replied the female thief, she continued to slash at him, and threw a left roundhouse to the head. Gambit saw a giant crimson X come flying towards them.

"Looks like we got a bon rien bebette joining us." Said Gambit.

"If you two done with your date, I have a tablet to steal." Said the newcomer.

"And you are?" Asked the female thief.

"X, Red X, now if you excuse me, I'll be taking that Tablet." He calmly walks over towards the Tablet, until Gambit threw an explosive card at his back.

"Sorry little boy, but I need that Tablet for an important business arrangement." said Gambit, then the female thief kicked Gambit in the gut.

"Yeah I need that, this little kitty cat needs a new ball of yarn."

"Sorry, but that tablet is going nowhere." Said Nightwing as the Titans arrived.

"Haven't seen you in a while." Said Red X.

"You know this clown?" Asked the Female thief.

"Yeah he was the one who provided me this suit."

"Now, now I am not here to play babysitter." Said Gambit, as decks of cards slid up both his hands. "52 CARD PICKUP!" Gambit threw the cards up in the air causing explosions going off everywhere. Thieves and Titans got distracted by all of this, allowing Gambit to go after the Tablet. As his hand reached for it, Spider-man fired a web-line at his hand.

"Hey didn't your momma ever tell you to keep your hands to yourself at all times?" Gambit pulled out a card and charged it up cuts right through and then throws it at Spider-man. Spider-man moves out the way and fires a web splat at Gambit's face.

"YOU!" Red X screamed as he pulls out a giant red sword he charges at Spider-man. Nightwing does a flying sidekick to knock Red X out of the way.

"Red X you...." Red X ran past Nightwing and focused solely on Spider-man. He fired a giant Red X from his palm to capture Spider-man. Spider-man quickly got out of the way, and Red X came up to him swinging his arms and legs at him.
