The first text came at 7:30 P.M. The contact said Anonymous, and I thought this was strange. The text said: "I'll be there soon." This kind of creeped me out, but I figured that it was someone pranking me. I didn't respond.
The second text came at 8:30 P.M. It said: "On my way." I ignored it.
The third text came at 9:15 P.M. It said: "I'm here. Come outside and see me." Before I could reply there was a knock on the front door and I froze in terror. Mom and Dad wouldn't be back for another hour.
The forth text came at 9:30. I reached out from under the covers to grab my phone. My hands trembled as I read the text. It said: "Open up!"
There was a knock at my door... my bedroom door.
