I walked into his study that other day, and he quickly fumbled to close his laptop, which piqued my interest. He’s always been so open with me before. More so lately, he’s been jumpy and distant. I think I know what's going on. I’ve seen it before, with the others. I’m not angry, I can’t be. But I really liked this one.
I understand, though. My secret never stays for long; they catch on. He’ll just end up like the rest of them.
