"Have you heard? That Dragneel kid is back!"

Whispers flood the corridors to and they all look at me as I walk to my last class. Even if my face had looked like I hadn't heard a thing they said, I had. My nose twitched to try and keep in a scream of either delight or anger, maybe even fret?

Even if he was back, why hadn't he been in school yet to prove his existence?

10 months ago he had left us and now he had decided to come back. It was now January and he decided to come back when he left in March?

What was his motivation to come back and what was his reason for leaving?

I walked into the class on a Friday afternoon and sat down. Where Levy should have sat was an empty seat. She had been going to volunteer at that hospital Mard Geer had worked in, that guy with the blood test almost a year back.

Jellal had moved up in English to the top sets and now can read perfectly, he had even started to do chores in the house to save up for more.

Gajeel had been doing fine in my opinion. After him changing from human to something other than that, he had been doing his "best" to try and control his thirst for blood. All those Friday nights to teach him things to do and not to do were tiring but worth it.

He had faked an injury in his first month to make sure he wouldn't attack anyone. I guess the memories of how Jellal almost attacked him on that ECM Day had hit him with some sense.

I now hand him blood for lunch so he wouldn't get hungry and I would sometimes bring in extra for Jellal if he was good at breakfast. He hadn't got the deal through his head but it's slowly going through.

I no longer had languages to deal with as I hadn't picked them for my GCSEs and I didn't have to worry about History homework as I chose Geography over it. I stared at the globe try to make it move by my will.

It never worked.

So it doesn't now.

My pen scratched on the sheet of paper I had meant to fill out about Africa and I could hear the clock ticking in the background. I had meant to go meet up with Levy at Dalston after she gets let out so we can talk about how it's going there.

She had volunteered with Gray and Erza so they would be there as well. Gajeel was in the seat behind me and was also meeting up with them. Juvia might have been in music at the moment but she was coming.

It was like this every Friday.

We talk on Friday and sometimes Sting would tag along if he wasn't trying to get Yukino or talking to his new kid, his name was Rogue.

Sting had said he was a human but was planning on befriending him a few months ago and now they were inseparable. But he does make time for me. It wasn't like him being way older than me fases me much with a drastic change in our schedules...

"Lucy!" Levy yelled through the phone line. I was unbuckling my bike chains from the school grounds as I heard yells and cheers from her side of the line. A wave of familiarity hit me.

"Tell me, what's wrong?" I asked her. I could hear her breathing loudly, signifying she was really close to the phone. I hear her hiss at my line.

"Can't you tell? There's a fight! Go to Dalston." She said before cancelling our little chat. I hopped onto my bike and whizzed through the streets. If it was what I thought it was, this was deja vu.

But, I didn't want to get my hopes up in case it wasn't what I had thought. It might have been a stupid fight from other students in our class, but there was a good chance of it being him. This scene was way too familiar for it not to be.

I chained my back onto the rack and ran to where I could hear all the yelling. A large crowd surrounded the streets, causing cars to stop at them. Adults were yelling at us to move but no one would budge. Parents tried to manoeuvre their kids away from the crowd before the children noticed.

I pushed passed large students varying in gender and height to try and get in the middle. I closed my eyes from the pressure of getting to my destination and my heavy weighing hope. I could hear voices yelling at each other. My arm brushed passed one more person before feeling the heavy air slice through me as I realised there were no more people to push past.

I forced my eyes to open at the scene. My eyes locked onto one figure who was Jellal. Knowing it was a different person in Gray position didn't make my heart fall. I didn't really care, I looked to my right to check for the figure.

I felt something coming up in my throat as I found out who it was. Gajeel was yelling things that only my group would understand in the middle of the streets. I bit my lower lip, to try and keep myself from crying at how foolish my thinking was.

I bit harder as I hit Jellal on the head and squeezed Gajeel's cheeks hard enough for him to understand what was going on. "He wanted to know if he could get another drink of blood!" Jellal accused him.

I sighed before I instructed them to go to the chicken and chip shop. I walked over to where my bike was to unchain it. I thrust the keys into the hole in anger knowing that my emotions had clouded my train of thought once again. It had happened once before a month ago. Levy had said she found a trace of Natsu in England from information she got from a friend outside of London.

Turns out it was fake.

So was this time.

"You were thinking the same as me, weren't you?"

Sting and Yukino or Sting and Rogue??? Just asking because I want to set him up with someone and I'm tied between these two!
