Hello! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been busy with school and Music Man and just have had writers block. I wanted to give you something to read, and I finally had inspiration, so I wrote this passage. I will eventually add it to one of my other story lines, but you guys need some entertainment so here (Btw I did not write these poems. I googled them).

I stepped onto the platform we call a stage in our school. I adjusted the microphone to make it shorter and heard a few muffled laughs. "From My Heart." I said, butterflies dancing in my stomach. If I mess up, its over. In the center of the room, a few rows back, sat a boy I could not afford to lose. "A million stars up in the sky," I looked down at the small paper in my hand, searching for the next line. I looked up again to speak and my eyes made contact with him. He smiled, I blushed, I continued on. "one shines brighter I can't deny. A love so precious a love so true," my eyes went down, then up, to see his lips in an everlasting smile and his eyes shining. My face went as red as a ripe strawberry. "a love that comes from me to you. The angels sing when you are near," Our eyes locked and I knew that I didn't need to look at the paper again. "within your arms I have nothing to fear. You always know just what to say, just talking to you makes my day. I love you honey with all of my heart, together, forever, and never to part." Applause erupted from the fourth row. While everyone clapped normally, wishing it were over, he clapped loud. Fast, strong, and loud. His smile filled my heart with joy. I returned to my seat on the far side of the room, feeling his gaze on my back. I sat on the bench next to my friends, and waited. A girl from the other class went up, said a short poem, and sat down. Another from the third class, then, him. "Your Smile On My Mind." he said, staring straight at me. "I wake up every day with your smile on my mind. It's a beautiful sight to behold, so soft and kind. My dreams are filled with the thought of me and you. I awake and smile, for my dreams have come true. I have you to guide me through my troubles and fears. I'll always be here for you through your struggles and tears. I love you more than words could ever show." he continued. He took the microphone from the stand and walked slowly towards the corner where I sat. "You mean everything to me, I just want you to know." He was closer. "I'll be here for you no matter the dilemma." He was at my feet now. "You will always be first on my agenda." He handed the microphone off to the girl next to me and took my hands. He stood me up, then got on one knee. "Will you let your smile always be in my mind? Will you stay with me when times are hard? Will you be my valentine?" He held out a small cat mood ring, one I thought I had lost not too long ago. "Of course." I said, barely containing my joy. The room erupted with applause. He took my hand and led me to the courtyard. On the backside of the school, a banner hung from the trees, reading Happy Birthday! A picnic basket was set atop a blanket. I hugged him, forgetting all my nervousness and shyness. "I didn't think this day could get any better, but I was wrong." I whispered into his neck with tears dripping down my face.
