Wide Open (Wesvitto)

Chapter 9

All eyes were on her and she could feel it. The cast finished filming season 5 and she was invited to their wrap party. She was having a good time she mostly stuck by Paul, but she did venture off with the girls from time-to-time. When she had to use the bathroom a few crew members were in there and their conversation hushed.

"Hello." She greeted awkwardly before going into a stoll.

When she finished her business and washed her hands she quickly left the bathroom. She looked to her left to see if she could find Paul then looked to her right. Instead of facing him she saw her hula hoop.

"Absolutely not" she shook her head and walked off.

He laughed and chased after her, "Come on T"

"No Paul"

"Torrey! Torrey! Torrey!"

Before she could silence him everyone joined in with the cheering and she opened her mouth in shock.

"You're so gonna pay for this later!" She snatched the hoop from his hand and everyone clapped.

She tied her hair in a ponytail then took off her jacket swinging it over her head handing it to Paul. Everyone laughed and cheered and when a new song began, she started her routine. 

Collard Greens blasted through the speakers and she took in a deep breath. Hooping had become a favorite sport of hers lately and she practices a lot and she likes to believe that she's good at it.

Everyone looked at her in surprise as the hoop traveled down her legs and take a few twirls at her knees only to rise back up to her hips. The growing crowd cheered as one leg escaped the hoop and was extended in the air then after a few seconds, carefully placed back on the ground. The hoop left her hips and she twirled it on her arm then moved around her body making it look as if it were floating in thin air. After doing more flips and tricks, the song ended the crowd clapped and cheered and she took a bow. She head Paul's laugh through the crowd and she turned to face him. He clapped for her and as the crowd started to move away, she walked over to him.

"You made me get all sweaty." She playfully slapped his arm.

He didn't reply back, he only smiled at her and took the hoop from her hands. They started walking and every now and again people would tell her how great if a job she had done.

"Well look who turned into a rock star." Paul joked.

"Jealous?" She teased.

He merely shrugged and she laughed at the jester.

They found themselves away from the party in the parking lot leaning against his car just looking up at the stars. It took everything in his power to not touch her or kiss her because he no longer held that right. He smiled as he watched her gazing at the stars and the same look that she had fixated on the stars, he had looking at her.

"Torrey I–"

"There you guys are!" Kat walked up to them along with Ian and Nina cutting Paul off.

"Torrey I had no idea you had moves like that!" Nina said surprised.

"I'm full of surprises." She smiled.

The group seemed to form a circle and they got lost in a conversation. They were glad that another season of The Vampire Diaries was picked up and glad that they could now enjoy some work-free days. They hoped to do a movie or two while on their TVD break, but they mostly planned to relax and travel.

"Well guys I should get going I hate being a party pooper, but I'm tired." Torrey yawned standing up from the hood of the car.

"Good night T"
