Until Dawn (Mike x Reader / O/C)

Chapter 4: Betrayal

When we forced open the door, we saw Chris and Ashley tied to a chair with a saw descending to cut open their heads. Mike kept hold of my hand as we observed what was happening. I had planned our romantic weekend in my head probably a million times and this was definitely not what I planned. Ashley and Chris looked over to the Physco when he entered the room. I shivered as I saw him and I clung to Mike. 

"No... No no no get away!" Ashley sobbed as he walked towards them. I looked to Chris with a gun in his hand. I shouted to Chris, "Throw me the gun, Chris!" Chris turned to me and tossed the gun to me. When I caught it, I pointed the gun at the Physco and pulled the trigger multiple times. I observed the physco take no injury and I heard him tut at me, "Oh Y/N... Y/N Y/N Y/N... You've heard of blanks before." I noticed Sam stood by Ashley and I guessed she had made an entrance when we were all distracted. When the physco pulled off his mask, I saw Josh with a smug expression on his face. He looked at us all and laughed. What was funny? Mike was a mess, He took me hostage, he put Ashley and Chris through a lot and who even knew where Emily and Matt were... He manipulated us, tricked us. "You...You guys!" Josh managed to pronounce through laughter. I teared up and I clinged to Mike once again. Josh looked like he completed his life's mission. Sam interrogated him, "Josh, why are you doing this?" Mike gave Josh a furious look, "Don't even ask this squirrelly little runt. He's got no clue. He's out of his fucking tree!" I sobbed and finally managed to speak," He's definitely off his meds." Josh looked at all of our furious faces, "Come on you guys, revenge is the BEST medicine!" Josh stated proudly.

I looked at him and shouted in reply, "So you flirt with me, keep me hostage, take my clothes, torture me... the list could continue for days, you manipulated us Josh and you could have done anything to me when I was unconscious."

Chris took part in the argument, " He's had a crush on you for a while anyway." Sam gave me a worried look, "I hope he didn't touch you, Y/N." I gave Sam a weak smile and Mike's grip on my hand tighten, "The fucker better not have touched you, for his sake!" Mike said fiercely. Josh looked and acted innocent, "So what if I have a crush on her, I wouldn't do ... THAT to her." Mike looked at me and asked, "Can I have the gun?" I handed the gun to him and Mike shouted lividly, "You are gonna fucking pay ya' dick!" He butted Josh in the head with the gun. I let out a sight of relief, I wanted to kiss Mike for doing that but I told myself now wasn't the time. To stop myself, I hummed to tune to my favourite song. Sam looked surprised, "Have you seen the movie yet, Y/N?" I stopped humming it and turned to Sam,

"What? Oh... Yes of course, I saw it three days in a row." I said somehow proudly. Sam gave me a judging look, "Have you now?" I got defensive in a joke way,

"Hey! Don't judge, it was my childhood." Sam shook her head with a wide grin spread across her face. Me, Sam and Ashley had walked upstairs and sat on the big couch. Ashley shrugged, "I think it's a classic but I don't like those types of films anymore." I smiled at Ashley and sat there in a lingering silence. Sam nudged me, "So, Mike and you seem a lot... closer than usual." I smiled awkwardly and let out an embarrassed giggle, "Well, I do like him but I'm not sure about him liking me." Ashley and Sam looked at each other and Ashley nudged me gently,

"He would be crazy to not like you, Y/N... I mean, you're beautiful, talented, kind , caring...The list continues and he would be missing an opportunity with you." I smiled weakly at Ashley and hugged her. Sam replied, "Yeah, Ashley's right... Matt might end up beating Mike to it, I mean... You do get along really well with both of them." I pulled Sam and Ashley to me and we had sort of a awkward, cheesy group hug. It did boost my confidence a lot. I let out a sigh, "I hope they get back here soon, I don't care if they leave Josh by himself." Sam gave me an understanding look but she still looked kind of bothered, "I know you're mad at him but come on, you're telling me you don't care if he freezes to death." I looked down at my lap and sighed, "I guess you're right Sam, I'm sorry..." Sam lifted my chin up, 

"Its okay, I wont hold it against you also... Don't worry, We're all gonna make it through this." We heard the door open and I stood up, to see who it was and I heard Chris project, "Don't worry guys, its only me." I sat back down and Chris sat down next to Ashley. We started talking about what had happened and I explained what had happened to me and how I found Mike. We paused when we heard someone screaming. It sounded like someone I knew, "Guys, I think that's Emily..."

Ashley looked in the direction of the door, "It is." I rushed to the door and unlocked it, flinging the door open. Emily fell in so Sam and Ashley helped her up. I stood on my tip toes and looked through the glass, there was still no sign of Mike. I convinced myself in my head, 'He's probably on his way now , I need to stop worrying.' I walked in and sat down in-between Sam and Emily, "Wait Emily, Where's Matt?" Emily gave me a disgusted look,

"Don't ask about Meat brain please, he left me on god-damn falling fire tower." I shook my head in disbelief and sat there soaking in the information. "Where was Mike? Where was he?" Those were the words that lingered in my head and it wouldn't leave. It stayed there for the remainder of the other's conversation. So I was Heartbroken about What josh did and Anxious about Mike making it back to the lodge safely.
