*** Somewhat earlier, in the Mikaelson Mansion, Klaus put his sketch book aside as he heard Caroline's car pull in. He swished down to the lobby to meet her, somewhat perplexed as to why she would be coming over at that hour.
And before she could ring the bell, he opened the door for her uttering- "Caroline? Is there something in the matter?"
"Yeah"- she gasped a little in her usual neurotic manner-"Can we talk? Private?"
"Sure"- Klaus said adding-"the sitting room"- pointing to the room on the left.
"What has happened?"- Klaus now asked as he closed the door behind them.
"Nothing."- Caroline huffed and then went on-"I have these feelings- and I shouldn't have them- and feels like - it is not fair-"
