Resurgent

I am alive! Why can't I respond to Tobias and Christina's cries?! I am paralyzed. That's what it is. The same stuff Peter gave me. Caleb must have inserted me with that stuff when I was blacked out. I hear heavy steps leaving. They left. For good. I hear someone come back in. Then I hear his voice. It's Caleb's. "Beatrice, I know your alive. I'm about to put you into surgery for your bullet holes. I then will tell you what's going on." I hear his steps leave again. I hear him come back. "Beatrice, this may hurt, it's to put you to sleep while your in surgery, I love you." His words sting. I love you. Those three words whirl around in my head. He betrayed me, but he saved me. He hates me, but then he loves me. My brother is back. I have family. I feel a pinch in my neck as I'm being Lulled into sleep. I can manage in a split second while the first serum erases and the new one begins to open my eyes. It's weird because they aren't closing. All I see is a bright light. Did I die? was the mixed serum to much? was it secret death serum? I see my mother. Her soft blonde hair flows to her shoulders. Her eyes are brighter than they used to be. Her wrinkles that were around her eyes and mouth have disappeared. She seems to be glowing as she makes her way towards me. I've reached my conclusion. I'm dead. My mother reaches me. She takes hold of my hand. "Hello Beatrice." She smiles at me warmly. I smile back. "Hi mom." I say just above a whisper. I hug her lean frame. She hugs back. Over her shoulder I see my father. His dark brown hair, just like Caleb's. His dark Brown eyes. He also seems to be glowing. He comes over to us. Me and my mother break apart as my dad comes over to me and hugs me. "You did well Beatrice." I nod my head and say "Thankyou." I wonder how Christina, Tobias, and Four are? I then feel a tap on my shoulder. I see Tori with a man a bit younger trailing behind her. She hugs me and says "Welcome Tris. We've been waiting." I smile at her warmly. She then points to the man behind her. "Tris, this is Georgie, remember I told you about him?" I give Him a small wave and say "Ah, yes you did. Hi Georgie." I smile. Georgie says "Hello" and backs up a little. He must be Shy. I began to look around. It's all white. The buildings are white. Everything. Except the long winding path which is made out of gold bricks. Solid gold bricks. It is magical. Majestic. I wonder how time works here? I wonder what time it is on earth. I wonder if the time here is faster, or if it is slower. I then see Marlene welcoming someone to the after life.( AN: I'm not putting anything religious because People believe in different things So I'm just going to say after life) I notice who it is. Uriah. I skip over to them. They both see me and hug me. Uriah then says "Hey Tris! When I was in a coma I could hear people talking and stuff I just couldn't correspond. I had heard that they said you died a month ago and That Caleb is going to try and bring you back and that he couldn't tell Four or Christina. They're also going to try and bring me back but only us because they have our bodies only. They gave Four and Christina saw dust and said that was our ashes and we are going to be preserved in a cooler, so they cut me off of life support." I am in shock. I don't want to go back. I also can't believe It has been a month on earth! it hasn't even been ten minutes here! That's when I see the person I was most nervous to see. Will. Will, my friend who I shot. Will, Christina's love. Will, The person who will probably never forgive me. He walks up to us and hugs me. Well, I guess I was wrong. We all talk for hours while me and Uriah tell them everything that has happened. Soon I meet back up with my parents to eat. Uriah had saw his dad again today, and he started to cry. I never imagined seeing him cry. It was the most sweetest, heart touching thing I've ever seen. Uriah sits with me and my family while our parents chat and so do me and Uriah. I start to get this weird sensation in my bones. I feel like I'm moving but I'm not. Me and Uriah both look up at the same time. He also feels it. That's when it hits me. We are coming back to life. I start to hear my parents shout and chant my name while me and Uriah disappear. I feel energy surge through me. I'm back on earth. I can tell I'm on a Cold metal table. I hear Caleb talking "I got Uriah to open his eyes! And I got Tris' Heart beat going!" I began to peel my eyes open. My eyes sting when the light reaches them. I miss mom and Dad. I hear Caleb shout my name so I direct my eye to where he's standing. He is behind Uriah coming to me. I see Uriah's eyes light up when he sees me. He gives me a weak smile. I know we are both disapointed. "Caleb how long has it been, since you know..." I ask. Caleb smiles brightly from me talking "Two years and thirty two days" he replies. I can't believe he knew exactly how many days. It's kind of creepy. His smile suddenly fades into a frown "You two can not let Four or Christina find out about you two. You guys also have to stay here in the compound for federal reasons in which I'm not allowed to speak of with or to you about." I am now really pissed. "YOU MEAN TO SAY, YOU BROUGHT ME BACK FROM THE DEAD, FROM PEACE, TO TELL ME I CAN'T SPEAK TO THE LOVE OF MY LIFE?! THEN WHY THE HELL DID YOU BRING ME BACK?!" Caleb gets a hurt expression while I let out a long exasperated sigh. I feel Uriah bring me into his embrace while I cry. I pull back and smile at Uriah while I wipe away my tears. Caleb then tells us "I am now going to show you around since they kind of redid the building." We nod as he walks in front of us. He shows us A few rooms saying this is where he works and other stuff which I didn't pay attention to. He then shows us where our apartments will be. Mine is three hundred ninety four. Uriah's is two down. Then Caleb shows us a place to buy all necessities such as clothes, food, makeup, Medicine, bathroom needs, a that stuff and more. Then we walk a little farther, turning down multiple corridors. We then enter double doors. A cafeteria. We see Zeke sitting at a table with Shuanna in her wheel chair. Zeke walks up to us, wheeling Shuanna. He hugs Uriah then me. Then Shuanna also hugs us, not letting the wheel chair stop her. They all sit down while me and Uriah go and get food. I develop a plan in my head and decide to ask Uriah. "Hey, Uri, we should sneak out tonight and go zip lining." He nods vigurously. We go sit down and eat. We chat for hours, getting filled in on what's going on and rules of here. We nod and soon everybody leaves except me and Uriah. We both decide to go at twelve. We both need clothes first. We walk into the store that Caleb pointed out earlier. I go to the woman's and Uriah goes to the Male section. I grab A tank top my Size and a pair of jeans. I also get Black skin tight jeans. I then look at shoes, buying a pair of black combat boots. I then walk over to the makeup. I pick out black eyeliner. I go and buy them with the card Caleb gave me. It has twelve thousand points on it. I buy the stuff and I also ended up getting a tooth brush, tooth paste, perfume, shampoo, and a hairbrush. When I get home it's eleven. I decide to get ready. I take a quick shower. When I'm done I blow dry my hair with the blow dryer the apartment came with. The apartment came with appliances and furniture. I brush out my long blonde hair, since it grew longer over the years. I cut off ten inches of my hair since it went a little past my butt. I pull my mid back length hair into a high pony tail. I put on my new tank top and jeans. I then slip my feet into my boots. I drag the black eyeliner pencil on the water line of my eye. I smile at my appearance. I check the time and it is eleven fifty eight. I grab my keys and walk out the door, locking it on the way. I walk to Uriah's apartment and wait outside of his apartment. He soon walks out in All black. We both silently nod and walk to the entrance. We walk out the doors. We began to run. We soon reach The amity abandoned fields. We run a little farther until we are close to the train tracks. I feel the railing. It is vibrating that means a train is coming. We began to run. I throw myself into the train car with Uri trailing right behind. We sit and wait for about an hour until we are walking distance to the hannock building. We run to the hannock building. We notice something in the distance. a landing pad. Oh! it's for ziplining. I point it out to Uriah and we laugh. We enter the building and run up the stairs and down the halls of the building, making our way up. I then heard the one thing I didn't want to "WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?" a voice books down the hall after us. Me and Uriah laugh and keep running, not noticing who the man is. I hear the mans steps coming after us. Me and Uriah run faster, losing him. We soon reach the top. "Ok, tris I'm going first." I nod as he straps himself in. I hear him whooping all the way down. I strap myself in. I look up and see who the man is. Oh no. It's Tobias. When he sees me his face gets a mixed look of confusion, sadness, pissed, and happy? I push myself down and yell "URI! PREPARE TO RUN!" I see Tobias run to the steps. He is going to try and catch us. Oh great watch there be an elevator. I soon reach the end. I unhook myself from the straps, I scramble out of the tangle and drop on to the landing pad. I laugh and so does Uriah. We have five. That's when I see someone charging towards us from the hannock building doors. Oh no. I yell "RUN! CALEB WILL KILL US!" we run in a total random direction. I know Four is gaining up on us. I try to speed up but I cant. I then feel a tug at my collar. Uriah also jolts back. "You guys are alive!?" We both nod slowly. I then feel masculine arms wrap around me. They squeeze me until I can't breathe. "Uhh..... cant.... breathe" Tobias let's go and turns me around, crashing his lips to mine. I kiss back. I then pull back and hug him. I hear Uriah clear his voice. Tobias pulls back and hugs him which takes Uriah back skittle but then he hugs back. I then say "Geez four, are amity?" We all share a quick laugh. Tobias then invites us to go to his apartment. We walk into the hannock building and we decide to go see Christina. when we get there I knock on the door. She quickly answers and looks shocked she then pulls me into a huge hug and then Uriah. We walk in while Christina keeps squealing. We explain everything and then we decide to all have a sleep over. I found it really funny when Christina and Uriah went privately in her room. Me and Tobias go into the guest room. When I get there he smashes his lips to mine. I kiss back. I yawn and we both go lay down. He wraps his arms around me and we fall asleep, me tangled in his warm arms. Caleb Is going to be so mad. I soon drift off to sleep.
