The limo drove away and I was so happy to be with her.

"So, where are we going?" She asked me. I chuckled.

"It's a secret..." I said smirking. She rolled her eyes. I kissed her forehead.

We soon arrived at Redwood Lake. We stepped out of the limo and I tipped the driver. Ah, good. Just how I left it. There was a picnic table lit with lanterns and candles. She gasped.

"It's beautiful!" She exclaimed. She hugged me tightly and I hugged her back. We sat down and I pulled the food out from under the table. They were in a bag and in the bag was styrofoam boxes that held our food. We ate and talked. It was nice to just settle down.

After we ate and cleaned up, we just sat next to each other and stared at the stars. I tried to make conversation.

"So... what kind of nail polish is that..?"

"That would be clear!" She said laughing. I laughed with her and I rubbed my temples.

"Right.." I said smiling and gazing into her eyes. The world around us just kind of... disappeared. For a moment, it was just me and her. I was snapped out of my gaze when there was a crack of thunder. I cleared my throat and stoop up. I turned around and crouched so she could jump on my back. She did so and we walked back to the car.

We got to her apartment and it was a down pour. I gave her my coat.

"Use it as an umbrella." I said smiling. She smiled back and took the jacket.

"I had fun." She said. I nodded.

"Me too." She pecked my cheek, opened the door and ran to her apartment.

I drove to my complex and went inside to find my roommate Hunter. He was playing COD so I decided to join him. I jumped on the beanbag next his and connected my controller.

"To your left!" He shouted. I shot the person coming to my left.

"Behind you, bro!" I yelled back. This was our cycle. We never talked. Just shouted where enemy's were.

an hour later, Hunter got up.

"Be right back!" he said while sprinting to his room. I rolled my eyes. What now? This is what. He came back in red spandex. I covered my eyes in horror while peeking through my fingers. He struck a super hero pose.

"RED SPANDEX.... THE TIGHTER, THE BETTER." He said in a superman voice. I laughed so hard I cried.

"Do you think Piper will like it? Will she think it's hot??"

I shook my head laughing. Piper was his girlfriend. I thought of her reaction and laughed even harder. He flexed his muscles.

I finally stopped laughing and he walked back to his room to change.

"Bro, I was kidding." He said as he sit down.

"GOOD."

He rolled his eyes and we got back to the game.
