Shin-ah met her a long time ago. He vaguely remembers when she came into his village when he was a child and lived with Ao. Her hair was short and grimy as dirt clung to her skin and her tattered robe hug loosely off her frail body. She stood at the side of a young looking boy of only 17, clinging to his leg, just above his knee. She hid behind him as she looked at Shin-ah's mask. He could remember her vividly, but the only thing she remembered about the man who dropped her off and left her in that village was his bright, yellow hair, shining like a golden meadow.

That girl was left in his village. Shin-ah not only received a ball to entertain himself with from that strange man, but he would grow to receive a friend. The girl was timid and shy, weak and frail. Ao was reluctant to take her in at first, but something in her E/C eyes shone powerful like a spirit, and eventually, he did. Shin-ah was the one who looked at the girl, while Ao only really supplied her with a roof over her hair.

This was the first time Shin-ah felt so important. He felt needed. He finally felt that he was worth something. The girl had never spoke, and would usually hide her eyes behind her H/C hair. She was shy, even more so than Shin-ah. She didn't even trust the small boy at first, but soon enough, she took the first steps and reached out to him. Soon, she was silently asking the boy to play with her, the ball he got from the stranger who left the girl with him.

As time past, Shin-ah had already told the girl about himself, and the girl noticed how Ao was getting weaker. Shin-ah spent days thinking about how he didn't know her name, and how he was only called by his title. He wondered why she never spoke, and he was oh so curious about how she sounded when she used her voice. Perhaps she had no voice to use?

The time soon came when Shin-ah had left with Ao, and Shin-ah returned home alone. Ao, was no longer able to be with them. The girl, who sat in the corner like she always did when they would leave, noticed a pair of bells attached to his mask he always wore. She slowly got up as Shin-ah slowly walked past her, almost like he didn't notice her anymore. His small body tripped over a small rock from the ground and his tears started spilling out.

The girl quickly acted and held Shin-ah small body in her own frail one. She held him tightly as he cried. He elt out his sorrow, he had just lost someone who had raised him, the person he thought of as a father. The girl couldn't understand his pain, and just held him tighter and tighter, and soon she opened her mouth and started to comfort him.

"It will be okay."

Her voice was soft and it almost made Shin-ah want to stop crying. It was so soft, it was the opposite of what Ao's voice was like. His voice was always so rough and harsh, but hers was so soft and comforting. He took her clothes in his palms and gripping them tightly as he cried for what seemed like hours later.

From that day on, they stood together, as a team. The girl had opened up and started talking, she'd smile to him and laugh at small things he would do. They watched each other grow, and mature. Even when he had killed all those soldiers and forced the entire village to move locations to the mountains, when he couldn't move, the girl would carry him on her back. She didn't leave him, even after everything he had done.

Now, she still stays with him, and he couldn't ask for anything better than her company. Now the blue dragon, without a name, was grown into a young man. He stayed in the back of the stone caves of his mountainous village, the girl at his side. She would sleep on the hard floor, curled into her robes and every night, Shin-ah would place his fur head-dress over her small form.

Then, one day, someone else he didn't know he needed came looking for him. A strange red haired young, beautiful girl. He had felt such a desire to leave with her, and his eyes pulsed in sight of her. She wanted him to join her fight to survive. The dragon refused, knowing that his power of his eyes was no good to anyone, and as she left, he felt a piece of himself leave too. He felt so conflicted, he couldn't leave, he didn't know this girl, so why did he want to cry.
