6 months later

It's been a minute since Zaria has passed and I must say, it's hard as hell.

That young lady made a significant impact in my life, making me a better person and making me have a bigger appreciation for life.

I still speak to her mother, she decided to move down to Florida to be closer to the Zaria's Dream research institute for Lupus.

"Mr. Wright?",

I looked up to see Meagan bringing me another bin filled with fan mail. I honestly didn't want to read anything but they are my fans. They take the time to write to me so I can take the time to read it.

"Thanks meg", I said with a small smile.

"Keep your head up Eric", she says before closing the door to my office.

Once again, I took out a honey bun and propped my feet on my desk and leaning back in my chair. About 50 minutes passed as I opened another envelope.

I raised an eyebrow, turning the envelope front and back. Wasn't no return address on it. I pulled out the white piece of paper that held beautiful handwriting in purple ink;

"Dear Eric,

I just wanted to let you know that Zaria is okay. she's safe and sound resting in eternal peace. She wants you to know that she appreciates and loves you so much, for giving her confidence and hope during her final days of living. You made her wildest dreams come true.

You were her blessing. Believe it or not.

Eric, she knows you think of her. she knows you cry and blame yourself for not getting to the hospital to see her during her final hours. But you know what? your last memory you spent with Zaria was with laughter, joy and happiness.

You should be proud of yourself. Zaria loves you so much and she speaks highly of you. You have a heart of gold and the lord will continue to bless you.

Take care of yourself Eric. Zaria will see you again one day. you two will meet at the crossroads.

I gently placed the letter down on my desk and stared into space for a second before smiling. I don't know who sent this letter, but it put me at ease a little.

I will never forget Zaria. She is forever in my heart.
