Can't you see?
Can't you see the tear stained eyes?
Can't you see the makeup smeared cheeks?
Can't you see the hidden tears?
Can't you see the hidden scars?
Can't you see the bloody palms?
Can't you see the shallow breathing?
Can you see anything?
Can't you hear?
Can't you hear the pleading?
Can't you hear the screaming?
Can't you hear the cries for help?
Can you hear anything?
Can't you feel?
Can't you feel her pain?
Can't you feel her sorrow?
Can't you feel the weight of the world?
The world that she carried for so long.
The world that dragged her down, down, down.
Until she was crying.
Until she was begging for help.
Until she was silenced.
