Hold On My Love

Chapter 3

Jaydon POV-

I was going out to feed when this intoxicating smell came to my attention. So I followed it and found the most beautiful creature I have ever seen in my life and I have seen a lot.Then I noticed that she was about to jump over the edge of the cliff. So I ran over to her a quickly caught her before she fell. She tries to get out of my arms and I chuckle at it because she won't be able to do anything. Then she turns her head to look at me and I stare onto her eyes, as she is with mine, and I'm completely mesmerized by their blue grey crystal color. Why would she jump knowing that she would die? I was so lost in thought that I didn't even realize that she got out of my arms and started to walk away. But all I could do is ask "Why?"

She stopped and turned to look at me confused "What?"

"Why were you about to jump to your death?"

"That is none of your business. I don't even know who you are." If only she knew.

"Actually it is since I just saved your life"

"Well maybe I didn't want saving. So in that case I don't need to tell you anything." And with that she started to walk away again. So I stopped her by grabbing her wrist. All of a sudden I smelt blood and she flinched away from my grip. That could only mean one thing. And I would know. I saw her wipe a single tear from her eye and turn around about to walk away for the third time.

"Do you cut?"

She froze "That is none of your business."

Causing me to mumble "One day it will be. I'm gonna make sure of that." Then I walk away to go back to hunting. And for the rest of the night I can't stop thinking about how a beautiful human like her can harm herself. There has to be a reason behind it and I'm gonna figure it out whether she likes it or not.
