(Y/N) PROVE: It has been five months since I found out I was pregnant and I was becoming big, and my due date growing closer. Tomoe wouldn't let me out of his sight but unlike some fathers to be he let me do things without help unless I asked for it or he saw I needed it, most of the time before we went to bed or to sleep he would rub my belly and talk to our unborn child and say goodnight. Just seeing him do this made me happy that he was excited to be a dad. Every time the baby kicked I would start to call him but before I could he would be in front of my stomach feeling the kicks from his child.
Recently Tomoe had been acting off and when I tried to get into the spare room next to ours he would say that there was something he was doing in there and that it was for Mikage and that nobody was to know. Speaking of Mikage he was visiting and said he had a surprise for us. As I felt his presence come closer I changed into a mor suitable outfit because it was summer and it was hot. So I changed into a long skirt and a crop top so let my self air out in the cool shrine.

Once Mikage knocked on the door I walked over and opened it, "Hello (Y/N) how are you and Tomoe doing with everything and not to mention the heat," I showed him into the main room, "Oh, I'm fine but the heat isn't nice I don't like it, it irritates me and when I'm irritated the baby is to and it starts to kick," after I said kick the baby kicked as if agreeing, then Tomoe came in and gave Mikage a quick hug and then came over to me and rapped his arms around me and placed his hands on my swollen belly feeling the kicks. When the baby kicked it seams as if his stress melted away.
"So Mikage hiw have you been," asked Tomoe as we all sat down, "Oh you know me getting on and getting old," I chuckled, "Come on Mikage you don't look a day over two hundred thousand," he just chuckled, "Well I could say that the past hundred years have probably been the best for all of us, oh Tomoe have you finished the task I asked about?" He said looking towards Tomoe who smiled, "Yes I have you can see it now if you want," "If you don't mined," as that got up Tomoe looked at me, "Call if you need anything ok," he said as he stroked my cheek, I just smiled back, "Ok," and with that It was just me and the baby squirming inside of me.
Just as I was getting comfortable there was a knock on the front door, "I'll get it," I yelled. As I opened the door I was swapped by two children hugging my legs, "Wow carful you two remember that (Y/N) is pregnant and she can't play with you like she used to, why don't you go to the main room and we'll be there in a minute ok," Nanami said to the two children on my legs, "Ok," they said with a sad expression. Once that were out of sight Tomoe came out of the room next to our bedroom and greeted the others. "Hay Tomoe, you been treating (Y/N) like a queen," asked Mizuki to Tomoe, "I'm treating her like the Goddess that she is, pimp-squeak," said Tomoe and they started to glare at each other.
I started to get mad and they started to get scared, "To the main room now!" I growled and they ran at top speed, once that were gone Mikage said hello to Nanami and as we walked to the main we talked about things for the baby like clothes and other things. Once we were in the main room the boys were playing with Nanami's kids Maddy Nanami's daughter was playing with Tomoes ears and tail, "Is he still in denial about being a good father," Nanami said putting a hand on my shoulder, "Yes every time before we go to sleep he is sitting there in his pajama bottoms and his head in his hands with all kinds of thoughts probably running through his head," she looked at me with a sad expression, "And, what do you tell him," I sighed "The same thing that he will be an amazing father and I couldn't want a better person to be my child's father because I love him so much."
As I said this a pare of arms wrapped around me and the hand were on my belly rubbing it and there head was on my shoulder, before I could say anything they spoke, "I only worry because of my past and what I did and if they would like me for that I know that they won't be proud," that was it I had had enough of his stupid behavior,"Shut up none of us care about the events in our pasts but what lies in front of us in the future, so stop saying that you won't be a good father because I'll always love you and so will you child!" As I finished I hugged Tomoe and he hugged back and cried.
"Thank you (Y/N) I love you and our child," I smiled and gave his lips a quick kiss, "I love you to Tomoe you gonna be and amazing dad I just know it."
