Things have been really going well since Jacob's hearing. He will be in jail for 30 years. I wish it was for life though. Then i wouldn't have to worry about him getting out of jail. Rafael tried making me smile a bit but with all things going on. I don't have the strength to.
My mom will be coming this afternoon to check up on me. She seemed really worried when I was on the phone. The worst is Rafael wants me see his parents. What are they going to say about me? Will they think that I'm not good enough for their son.
"Hi honey. What are you thinking about?" Oh it was Rafael. He was taking a shower since he wants to be ready for my mother. I told him that he doesn't have to be anxious about anything. The funny thing is he said the same thing about his parents. It's not the same thing though.
"I'm thinking about you." He smiled. I was actually thinking about him. "About how your parents are going to react to me. What if they think that I'm not good enough for you?"
"You don't have to worry about a thing. I've already talked to them and they seem to like you. I can't wait for them to see how beautiful you are." I blushed
"Really?"
"Yeah really. You look like an angel. You are the most beautiful girl in the world." I think I'm going to cry now.
"And you look so handsome I could kiss you right now." I came closer to him and kissed him. He kissed me back and soon the kiss turned into a long deep and passionate one.

Rafael dressed and we went to have breakfast. I wanted to make something but Rafael refused so we ended up eating burnt bacon and burnt toast. I don't really like Maria and how close he is to Rafael but right now I would put up with anything just to eat something good.
"So how did I do?" Rafael asked. He's sure he did good and I didn't want to disappoint him.
"Well. It isn't that bad. Better than the first." He smiled and took a bite out of his plate. The look on his face was priceless. At least he got a taste of his medicine.
"You lied right. This is bad. Bring me your plate." He took my plate and threw the contents away. I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe at the end.
"I like it when you smile." Rafael interrupted my laugh. "I like you smile. It makes me happy." Rafael always made me feel special. It felt awkward sometime especially when he says something that I'm sure he doesn't realise.
"What do we plan on eating now." I tried changing the subject. He cleared his throat and focused on my eyes now.
"We can order something or go out. which one do you want?"
" I think we should order. We don't know what time my mom will come." Rafael stood up and ordered some breakfast for us. We ate while talking and Rafael complimenting me every now and then and me blushing.
I'm so happy right now.

"So when did you and Maria meet." We just finished eating breakfast and I was curious of how they became friends.
"We met in high school. Her parents were friends with my parents. They wanted the both of us to get married oneday. But things never worked out for us." Rafael said in a low unsure voice. I hate the fact that he is always cautious of what to say around me.
"Oh so you guys were lovers?" My voice cracked a bit. "What happened to the two of you. You guys would have been great together." What the heck. Where did this come from. I should watch what I'm saying.
