3 various versions of the Tree Pose ( Vrksasana )

I decided to describe the Tree Pose as the second because you may remember that I did one of the 3 possible versions of it in Trolls movie scene.

1. The lady in the first picture is presenting the Tree Pose version with your hands in front of your chest ( as if she was doing the 'Namaste Gesture' )

2. I did the Tree Pose with open arms version

3. And there is also a Tree Pose version with your arms joined above your head ( as the picture below shows ) ⤵


How to do Vrksasana:

How to do Vrksasana: 

1. Stand firmly making sure that your spine is straight ( cause it demands some balance )

2. Bend one leg & put the raised foot on the thigh of the other leg

3. Slowly raise your arms not to lose your balance & place them in one of the 3 possible poses: in front of your chest, open, or joined above your head



*Contraindications*:

The Tree Pose is Not For You if:

- you have balance problems, headaches, low blood pressure or insomnia

- if you have high blood pressure - don't do the version with the arms raised above your head


< but if you are a healthy person & don't have any of those conditions - You can do the Tree Pose as often as you want!  ^_^ 👍 >
