Okay so I started this new story 'cause I was really bored one day. I don't know if I'll keep writing on it or not but I'll try and then we'll see about the rest. Hope you like it :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Days like this I just wanted a big bowl of ice-cream and to watch The Notebook. Remind me why I came here, please.
"Come on Emma, loosen up, will ya? It's a party damn it. Parties are meant to enjoy."
Olivia handed me a cup with some unknown liquid inside. When I refused to take it, Olivia just shrugged and downed it in one swift movement. I screwed up my nose in disgust.
"How can you stand it? Drinking that stuff I mean."
I had to scream to be heard over the loud music playing in the background. I was certain that she hadn't heard me when she spinned around, grabbed the nearest person to keep herself from falling and blurred something. I leaned in to catch the last words she said.
"...and just makes you feel so damned Good!" She turned to me. "And you, my sweet sweet Emma, should stop being so prude and just try it."
Her hand swept over the crowd that was on the dancefloor. One half of them were dancing while the other settled with slowly grinding against eachother in a repulsive manner.
"Come on Emma." my sister continued. "Hook up with a guy and have some fun for once."
I silently cursed her. Two minutes older than me and she thought she owned me. Since we were twins, we looked the same. Same chocolate brown eyes, pitch black hair and even the same smile. We even had the same voice. Even our friends had problems telling us apart. The only thing being different between us were our personalities. She was the one calling me in the middle of the night because she was too drunk to drive and followed some guy home. I was the one driving all night to find her and take her home. She partied all the time, never worried about a thing in the world. I sat at home, studied and had my whole life planned out. We were the same but at the same time completely different.
But not this time. This time it was different. She had made me come with her this time, telling me it would be oh so fun and I would just love it.
"No thanks Olivia." I answered her while straining a smile. "I think I'll just stand here for a while."
"Suit yourself." She grabbed hold on one of the guys who were checking her out and started dragging him towards the dance floor. "You don't know what you're missing, sis." She shouted to me and winked. I shook my head and smiled. I knew what that wink meant. We wouldn't be home before midnight.
--------------------------------------------
"You want some company, sexy?"
I looked up to see a guy much older than me looking seducely at me. I had moved away from the dancefloor to the bar area where the music wasn't slowly killing your ears. Boy was I in for some serious headache tomorrow.
"No it's fine I'm just going to..."
He gave me an odd look, like he just realized I was there.
"I wasn't talking to you."
The girl who was sitting next to me and whom he apparently had asked laughed and stood. She went into the guys arms and he escorted her towards the exit with so much as looking at me again. I slumped down on the chair as soon as they were gone. Great, just my luck. This was only one of the reasons why I never went to clubs, I always ended up making myself a fool.
"You look like you could use a drink."
I looked up at the guy who had been talking. With dark blue eyes and dirtblonde hair, he was drop dead gorgeous. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a sickpack as well. I sighed and looked around to see which lucky girl he had been talking to only to realize I was alone with him. Looking back at him I noticed that his smile was now amused.
"Yes, I am talking to you."
Only now did I realize the nametag he wore that said Jake. Oh god, I just wanted to die of embarresment. He worked here. And he had probably seen the whole thing that just happened.
"Damn. I'm sorry you had to see that. I'm usually not quite as strange."
Jake laughed. "No problem, I'm used to much worse things. You have no idea what I've seen since I started working here."
I practically melted when I heard his laugh. It was amazing what kind of effect a laugh could have on me but I couldn't help it. I even had to grab hold of the table so I wouldn't fall down the chair, which I am sure he would love to see happen. His eyes lit up when he laughed and I wanted to drown in them but all too soon he turned around and started mixing a drink. Jake put it in front of me and smiled.
"It's on the house." He said when he saw me struggling to get up my wallet to pay. He left me with the drink to help some girls that I hadn't even noticed were standing there. He bent down to pick up one of the glasses under the bartable and gave me a perfect view of his ass. It took all of my resistance not to jump over the bartable and attack him right there and then. I swallowed hard and shook my head. What was wrong with me, this never happened to me. To help clear out my thoughts, I took a large sip of the drink in front of me. A sensation of several tropical fruits and coconut filled me and I took another sip. In a matter of minutes, the glass was empty and I longed for another one. Jake was suddenly in front of me and smiled again, making me giggle for no reason.
"How do you feel now?"
"Amazing. You are amazing. God I just feel... sooo good." I sighed happily and his smile went wider. He slowly shook his head while looking at me and laughed softly.
"I don't think you need more than that. I think it'll be alright with just one dose."
I frowned a bit at his choice of words. Dose? I opened my mouth to ask him what he meant when he suddenly was beside me, smiling that smile again. He leaned in and whispered something in my ear as everything around me went blurry. I lost control of my body and felt it fall down, Jake grabbing me and starting to carry me somewhere. I couldn't see anymore and I felt the panic spread throughout my lifeless body as I realized what he had wispered in my ear."I've got you, Olivia."
Everything went cold and I lost my consciousness.
