Emma

The hallway was as dimly lit as the room I had been trapped in and it was hard to walk properly with the ground being so uneaven but still I kept going. I felt my way through the tunnels more than looking at where I went. I could hear my heart pounding hard in my chest and I don't think I've ever been as scared as I was when i walked through the tunnels. Every turn made my stomache flutter and every tiny sound made me freeze up in fear. After what felt like forever with no change in the tunnels I spotted a dim light in the distance. At first I thought it was a flashlight but it was an open door. I walked up to it as quietly as I could manage. When I had managered enough courage to stand right next to the doorframe I listened intently for any sign of other people inside. As I listened, I noticed a strange thing that made my insides go cold with fear. On the bolt of the door, there was a gum pressed to it. I peeked inside the room and noticed to my horror that I was back to the room where I had been held captive. Was there no way out of here? I looked back at the hallway and tried to notice any patterns in the different hallways. If I had to get out of here I would have to think reasonably fast, I had to get out of here before I bumped into someone or Jake came back. Time, unfortunately, was something I never seemed to have.

Olivia

Kyle didn't answer but instead started eating the food I had made him. Well fine, he could ignore the topic all he wanted, it wasn't something I was concerned about.

When I had come home yesterday he had lied in Emma's bed like it was his own. He laid sprawled out completely and it wasn't hard to see that he had fallen asleep out of pure exhaustion since he still had his clothes on. I walked up to the bed and tried to wake him up. Seconds later I found myself dragged into bed by a pair of strong arms and pressed up against his chest, almost like I had that time in the past when I crashed into him when he came out of the shower only this was better. This was him making a move, not me bumping into him by accident. I savored the moment as one would a rose fragrance or the sun shining on the first summers day, like something precious that could slip through ones fingers if you didn't watch it closely. His raspy voice right next to me gave me goosebumbs until I realized he had wispered my twin sisters name. I pushed away from him a few inches and looked at him. His confusion was adorable and I decided I would use this moment of confusion to my advantage so I leaned in and kissed him. He had been too shocked to do anything the first moments but it wasn't long before the response came. Unfortunately, not the one I had hoped for. His hands were once again on my shoulders but this time to push me hard so that I fell out of the bed. When I rose up, furious that he would do something like that, he had fallen asleep again. It was only a lucky guess that he must have sleepwalked somehow and that he most probably wouldn't remember anything in the morning. So I decided to take a little revenge on him. I threw down the bedside lamp and lay down in bed with him. The clothes scattered around the room was not entirely my fault, I think he wanted me to do that part. He couldn't do it himself now, could he?

"Your phone is ringing." Kyle muttered between bites of food. I stared at the caller id and frowned. I glanced at the clock and got even more confused. Jake was on a shift right now, had something happened? It must be important if he called at this time when he knew I had more important things to do. Without any thought to Kyle sitting right across from me I answered the call.

     "Hello?"

"Olivia, thank god! You have no idea what has happened to me. I'm so scared, Olivia you have to help me!" I could hear Emma sob on the other end. It was long since I had heard her cry.

"Who is it?" Across the table, Kyle had gotten curious. Must have been from my shocked expression.

"Olivia? Why aren't you saying anything? Olivia, I don't have much time he could come back any second, please just..." Emma's voice got cut off as I hung up.

"Oh, it was no one, just some salesperson." I said as cooly as I could considering that my hands shook. I stood up and pretended to smoothen out creases in my dress so that he couldn't see how worked up I was. "I have to go somewhere, I'll call you when I'm done."

Emma

I sat a few moments in silent shock as I heard the dooming sound of the dial tone in my ear. My hands started shaking even harder as I started sobbing again. There was a thumping sound as I dropped the phone on the ground in front of me. I had finally made my way to a small kitchen inside one of the unlocked door and found, to my utter joy, a cellphone. I had crunched myself up under the table with a knife in hand in case someone would enter. The first person that had come to my mind was, of course, my sister. I took the phone and punched in the familiar code of numbers. The numbers had blurred together slightly with all the tears that welled up at the thought of getting home again. The thought of getting out of here. But that didn't seem to be the case now that the call was cut before I had had the chance to tell her where I was. My sobbing ebbed out as it hit me that it shouldn't have been cut of. The call had gotten through, there was no reason for it to be cut of. I checked the phone to see if there was anything wrong. It was the same as it had been before I had called Olivia. The battery wan't dead and the connection was at it's highest. Maybe Olivias phone had died. Instead of calling Olivia again, I decided to call the second most familiar number to me.

Kyle

The door closed with a loud bang as Olivia left for whatever appointment she had. That was odd, she hadn't seemed that much in a rush a minute ago. The vibrating sound from my phone brought me back from my thoughts. The called id was not one I knew so I decided to ignore it, it was probably a salesperson. I stood up and put the dirty plate in the dishwasher. As I turned to grab the rest of the things from the table, my phone vibrated again. Again that same number. I ignored it again. Not a whole minute passed before my phone vibrated a third time. That is one desperate salesperson, I thought to myself. This time my curiosity took the best of me, I had to know what kind of person that would be so persistent with selling of an object to me to call so many times.

"Kyle! You have no idea how glad I am that you finally picked up!"

     It couldn't be. "Emma?"

"Yes, it's me." I could almost hear her smile at the other side of the line.

     "Where are you?"

"I don't know, some dark place with lots of tunnels. I got kidnapped by some crazy guy, you have no idea how horrible this is. I.."

I pressed my ear closer to the phone as I tried to make out what she said as she rambled on. "Emma, I can't understand what you mean, you are talking way too fast. Calm down, I will help you. Tell me what happened and I'll to find you."

"Oh." She sniffed. "Okay, well I was at the club with Olivia when.." There was a pause. "Oh my god." Another pause. Then the sound of someone rustling about. "Oh my god. Kyle, someone's coming!" She started sobbing quetly again and I almost crushed the phone in anger to what could possibly have happened to her to make her sound that terrified. I heard a faint sound of a door opening and then the line went dead.

Phew. That was a painful one to write. I'm not sure as to how much more I will make on this story, I do have some ideas but I still don't know how you guys feel about this story. Is it boring? Happens too much? Hard to get? TMI?

Oh well, since you've read this far I guess I'm on the right track. Stay tuned. And don't forget to comment ;)
