20: I'm losing myself✔️

     "Liam!" I yell in the woods "Ana it's getting late" Scott says "No! I have to find him!" I say stressing, my hand started to hurt "Does it hurt?" Scott asks "No, I'm fine," I said I walk farther "Liam! Hayden!" I yell I trip on a branch I land on my hand "Fuck" I groan, Scott gives me a hand "Let me see" he says so I give him my hand, he takes the pain away "Thanks" I whisper. "Can you smell them? Anything?" I ask Scott "No, nothing," Scott says "Howl," I say he howls, but nothing. Malia comes "There's no scent. No tracks. No way to find 'em." Scott tells her "But Liam can howl back, right?" Malia asks "Only if he hears him," I say.

     I start driving to Scott's, I am really pissed I noticed my claws were out I smile, there is a little werewolf still in me, when we arrive I get out of my car. I see Scott behind me "Ana?" Scott says I walk in the house and Malia, Stiles, and Theo were there, I walked passed them "Ana?" Theo says I walk upstairs I hear Corey "Sorry, I'm only on chapter two I'm kind of a slow reader." "Oh, that's okay, Corey," Mason says. I walk in the room "He's right. We don't have time for that anyways" I said "No! Ana don't!" Lydia yells I walk towards Corey and enter my nails in the back of his neck I gasp.

     I start to see Corey in the elevator and two of the dread doctors were holding him, Corey looked like he was in pain. They dragged him through the hall in the hospital, All of a sudden the scenery changed there was now a bunch of pipes they were everywhere. Corey starts to scream.

     I gasp and take out my claws from Corey's neck I was about to fall, but Stiles and Scott catch me. My breathing was heavy and my heart was racing I couldn't breathe, I hold myself on Scott's desk "Is he okay?" I breathe out "What the hell did you do to me?" Corey says. I look at him "You'll be all right." I say "There's blood," he says "You'll heal." I said "Ana?" Scott and Stiles say "He'll be fine!" I yell and clenched my fist tighter, I could feel my nails digging into my palm "Listen, I think it worked. I saw something. There were tunnels. Pipes along the walls. There were these huge blue pipes at the entrance. Two on both sides." I say drawing what I saw in Corey's memory. Stiles walked next to me and looked at the picture "Wait a second. I know this. I've seen this before. That's one of the tunnels I used to skateboard in. Remember my dad caught me one time and told me to never go back?" he tells Scott in the end "It's the water treatment plant." Lydia says "That's where they are," Scott says "That's where we'll find Liam and Hayden." I say in relief.

     I run to my room I take out a big bag from under my bed I take out a crossbow and some guns and also lots of bullets, I could try at least be useful. I run downstairs "Ana! slow down. Just think for a second, okay? Mason shouldn't be going" Stiles says "Liam's my best friend. I'm going" Mason says "Oh, did you suddenly get super wolf powers? I wasn't aware of that development" Stiles says "Well if you're not going, we could use him" I said "No, I'm coming just as soon as I talk to my dad. They're moving the body and he wants to make sure that this time no one steals it." Stiles says. "How is he going to do that?" Malia asks "I don't know. But whoever took the last one was strong enough to flip my Jeep." Stiles says "We can bring Theo," I say looking at Theo he looks at me "Maybe I better stay here. You know, in case the Doctors decide to make a house call for Corey." Theo says "He has a point," Scott tells me and I nod "Ana, Stiles is right. We need to slow down and think." Lydia says I get even more frustrated "I am thinking! About how Liam and Hayden could already be dead." I say "You could've hurt him, Ana, really hurt him" she says I look at Corey and I know she's right, but I need to find them "I have to find Liam." I say and look at Scott he nods and we leave the house "Do you think I did the wrong thing?" I ask Scott "I think you were doing what you were supposed to do to find Liam" Scott says "Thanks" I whisper.

     We arrive at the place, I get off the car and we enter the place there were so many stairs we finally land on a floor "Liam!" Malia yelled, "Can you catch a scent?" Mason asks Scott "There's too many chemicals." Scott says "Then this might take a while." Mason says. We walked around, but all Scott could smell is the chemicals even I could smell them.

     We kept running where ever my feet were going, we are all yelling their names every corner we got to. I bumped into Scott and Malia "Anything?" I ask "Nothing." They say I hear Mason yell and then he found us "Okay, We need to make sure that we're not covering the same area." I say out of breath "Ana, do you need your inhaler?" Mason asks "I think Scott need it more than me" I say "I think both of you need it" Malia says "Quiet, I think I hear something." Scott says "It's just the lights isn't it?" Malia asks "Come on. This way" Scott says and we follow him.

     We ran and ran it felt like if we were just going in circles "I'm telling you guys, we've been down this one before." Mason says I try to catch me breath "What the hell are we doing? We're running up and down this place. Up and down tunnels. And there is no way. There's no way that we're gonna find..." I say, but I couldn't breathe anymore I hold onto Scott "Ana, you need your inhaler." Malia said "No" I whisper I fall to the ground "Ana, use it, use your inhaler," Malia said I grab it from my pocket and shake it and suck in the air, I breath starts going back to normal again, but my eyes became watery I started to sob "Ana?" Scott said "I-It's all my fault," I said "We are never going to find them. It's my fault. It's always my fault." I say whipping the tears off my cheeks, but would still keep coming down "Ana." Mason says reaching out his hand I look into his eyes, and take his hand. "We should keep looking, We should keep trying," Mason says I look at Scott and he nods and so did Malia "We should keep looking," I say sniffling and we keep on walking.

     I got a message I checked it and it was from Theo "I got them, they're home and safe"  "What is it?" Scott said "Theo brought them home" I said, we run back to the car and head back home.

     I open the door and I see Liam, a tear fell from my eye Lydia smiled at me. Liam and Hayden were cuddling, I look at Theo and give him a light smile, he walks towards me and kisses me with so much passion "Thank you." I whispered, but I can shake off the feeling that I should've been the one to find him. I walk outside and sit on the porch, I hear the door open "Ana?" Scott said I wipe the tears and clear my throat. "Hey," I say trying to smile and my voice cracked "Aren't you happy Theo found them?" Scott asks "Yeah of course I am," I say "Then what's wrong?" Scott asks "I think I should have been the one to find them, I mean he's my beta, but Scott I feel like I'm losing him, I feel like I'm losing everyone." I said softly "Ana, you aren't losing me," he says "Then I'm losing myself," I say "Ana, ever since the day we were in the school, you have been different, I don't know when's the last time you smiled after that day" Scott says "I saw Allison in like a vision by the dread doctors and she looked like she was so angry at me Scott. I saw her shoot me three times with her crossbow, it felt so real Scott I felt her anger, I went to her grave that was really hard for me to do, but the last time I got down was so long ago, and still I go a lot of times, but I just pass by it I don't get down. I just wish this was a fucking nightmare and I'm just waiting to wake up and see her again in the room next to me and go bowling with my dad. I just want it to be over, Scott this is our fault a lot of people are dying because of us. And I feel like it's never going to stop." I say I could see in Scott's eyes that he's worried about me, but I don't want him to be "You wanna stay with me tonight" he asks "No I'll be fine, I just think I need time to myself." I said he nods.

     I go in my room and find the picture of Allison and me, I couldn't stop myself I wasn't even crying for Allison anymore it was about the pack. The door open I rub my eyes "Sweetheart, Everything okay?" Melissa asks I just stare at her "Somethings changed and I know Scott thinks so too" I said, "What do you mean?" she said "I'm not sure, but thing are different. With me and my friends except me and Scott he and I are in the same place, but not with everyone else. Something's changed, and I thinks it's because of me. And I don't know how to fix it, I feel like they are just waiting for me to screw up. I'm waiting for myself to screw up" I said "Hey, hey," she said sitting next to me she holds my hand in comfort.
