Taylor's POV:
I woke up in my room to find my mother hovering over me.
"Mom! What the hell?"
"Watch your language, miss. And did you forget what today is?"
"Um, I guess," I replied, still half asleep.
"Its the day of our big move!!" Mom replied happily, jumping up and down.
Groaning, I rolled over onto my side so that my mother was not visible from my angle. I did not want to go to Los Angeles. I liked it just fine here in Wilmington. But, mom got a new job offer that apparently would pay three times as much as her job does here. So, that meant a "big move". *Insert dramatic sigh here*
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Taylor Marie Davis, I'm 16 years old, I currently live in Wilmington, Massachusetts (though not for much longer), and allow me to describe my ugly physical appearance.
I have mid-length dark brown hair, poop-brown eyes (boring, right?), and I'm around 5'6.
At this time, my mother was shaking my, trying to get me out of bed, and might I say failing miserably.
Finally I gave into my mothers pleads, and got out of bed. I picked a lovely outfit of a Pink sweatshirt and black leggings (attractive). I did quick makeup of powder foundation, mascara, and bronzer, (so I don't look like a vampire). I was somewhat satisfied with my look, so I walked down the stairs to eat some breakfast. In about 10 hours, I would be in Los Angeles. What a scary thought.
My mother had already made me a breakfast of an Eggo waffle and orange juice, how sweet (*insert sarcasm*).
So, you're probably wondering, "where's your siblings? What about your father?"
Well , to answer your questions, my dad left when I was about 4, and I've never seen him since, and I'm an only child. So it's just my mom and me.
I quickly ate my breakfast and got all of my suitcases and brought them out to our car. We would be driving to Logan Airport in Boston and heading on a 9 hour flight to LAX in California. Yay.
My mom and I got into the car, and started the half hour drive to Logan Airport. I'm sort of dreading this move, but I'm also sort of excited to see what kind of surprised await me.
Little did I know that his move to Los Angeles would change my life forever.
