Trying To Move On..

Taylor's POV:
After Grayson and I talked in the janitor's closet, he looked at me a different way than he used to. Whenever we would see each other either in the halls, or in class, he would look at me as if he was afraid of me. Like he was afraid that he would trigger me, possibly cause me to self-harm again. I don't know why I showed him my scars, but I know it was the right thing to do.
Grayson's POV:
I couldn't get the image of Taylor's scars out of my head. What if I caused those scars? I think I loved Taylor, and I won't be able to forgive myself if I caused those scars.
Taylor's POV:
One afternoon, after school, I got a text from Gray.
From: Grayson
hey, wanna come to the beach w me and Ethan today?
To: Grayson
sure, pick me up?
From: Grayson
ok, i'll see u in 10.
I decided that it was time to dip my feet back in the water, and try hanging out with Ethan and Grayson again. The memories of what happened last time were still engraved into my brain, but I ignored them. I wanted to have a good time with the twins. I picked out a cute bikini, a pink one with pineapples on it, and grabbed a towel, my phone, sunglasses, and put on my flip-flops. I looked outside, and Gray and E pulled up in Ethan's black truck. I ran out and hopped in the back seat.
Ethan's POV:
Gray and I went to pick up Taylor, and I was kind of nervous. But, I wasn't going to try anything with her like last time. That would ruin things for a second time.
Taylor's POV:
"Hey, Taylor", Gray said to me as I got into the truck.
"What's up guys" I replied to both E and Gray.
We drove about 15 minutes to the beach, then all three of us got out of the truck.
"Race ya to the water!!" Ethan yelled like a child.
I chuckled to myself and started running to the water, and Grayson followed behind me.
As we reached the water, Ethan went straight into the water, while Gray and I sat down on the sand to tan.
As I laid back, I caught Grayson staring at me. I giggled and said,
"What?",
Gray leaned in so his lips were inches away from my ear, and whispered,
"You're so damn sexy in a bikini"
I felt my face get warm as I smiled and laid back onto the hot sand.
A couple minutes later, I was working on my summer tan, when Ethan comes running out of the water, and shakes his dripping wet hair all over me.
"ETHAN!!!" I yelled, standing up to push him, but he ran away before I had the chance.
"Guess you're gonna have to catch me!!" Ethan yelled as he ran towards the ocean.
I ran after Ethan, and jumped on his back as we entered the ocean. He tried to shake me off, but I just gripped on his back tighter.
After hours of swimming in the water with my two favorite boys, we were exhausted. We got back into the truck, and E and Gray drove me home.
As we arrived at my apartment, I got out and hugged both of them goodbye.
As I hugged Gray, though, he buried his face in my hair and whispered,
"See you tomorrow?"
I nodded, and even though those words were so simple, they seemed so intimate when Gray said them.
I waved my final goodbye to Ethan and Grayson, and walked inside.
Grayson and Ethan Dolan. Ethan was like an annoying brother to me, he was hilarious, and I loved him like a brother. I don't think we'll ever be more than best friends. But Grayson, Grayson was special. He was hilarious and goofy, like Ethan, but also sweet, caring, protective, and flirtatious.
I think I'm falling for Grayson Dolan.
