Where It All Started

A boy with the whitest hair walked down Platform 9 3/4 with his father. Nobody talked to him then, except two fairly round boys. Crabbe and Goyle. The boy had a smirk on his face as usual. "Now, I will be coming next week to see you. If I hear anything silly that you have done, I will move you to Durmstrang." The boy was too scared to say a thing to his own father.
As they walked down to the train cabin where he was supposed to go, the boy noticed his friends waving to him from inside of the train. "May I go now." The boy asked with no respect. "Go on." His father stood there for awhile but left before the boy could say goodbye.
As the boy walked to his cabin, he saw the people he hated. Worst of the worst for him. One was a ginger haired boy eating chocolate, the other, was a girl with bushy brown hair with 5 books in her hand, and the last one wore round glasses and had a pale face with a scar that looked like a lightening bolt.
As the boy was walking, he bumped into the ginger headed kid. "Move it Weasley." The white headed boy with a emerald coloured scarf, pushed the Weasley kid and the boy with a scar, both moved along but the bushy haired girl didn't. "Shut up Malfoy! You can't just push anyone like that whenever you feel like it." The boy looked up and had a disgusted look on his face. "How dare you talk to me filthy Mudblood!" The boy laughed as he continued walking to his cart leaving the girl standing with anger.
"Move it idiots." Crabbe and Goyle moved over for the boy. "Draco, what happened now." The boy's name was Draco, Draco Malfoy. "I bumped into Potter and his idiotic friends." Crabbe and Goyle laughed. "That's all you need to say. Just seeing them makes my eyes hurt!" Crabbe laughed at what he said and so did Goyle but Draco didn't.
Draco closed his eyes and rested his head on the back of the seat."This stupid train is a mess. Can't wait till we get off of it." Goyle rolled his eyes. "Cheer up Draco, look! The trolley lady is here!" The boys got up and bought a bunch of chocolate frogs. Draco opened up his box. "Pathetic, I got Dumbledore." Draco threw the card on the floor without care. "What did you get?" Draco stared at Crabbe's card. "I got Dumbledore too." They ripped up the cards and threw them away while laughing.
The boys heard someone running to their cart. A girl with dark hair and a mysterious look in her eyes walked in. "Move over Goyle, you take most of the space on the seat." They all laughed at Goyle. The girl smiled and pushed Goyle to the side. "Hi Draco." Draco rolled his eyes with disgust. He knew she liked him from day one.
Draco gave a fake smile to her. "Hi Pansy." Pansy was her name, she blushed and the boys noticed. As the train continued on, Draco got tired of listening to Pansy and what she did over the summer. So, he decided to leave the cart and take a walk.
As he walked around a little, he realized he was heading towards the Gryffindor Cabin. He saw how much fun the Weasley twins were having while messing around with the other students. He stared through a small window and saw the bushy brown haired girl standing outside of her cart staring at the window all alone.
Of course, this was a great time to make fun of her, Draco decided to walk over to the Gryffindor Cabin. "What happened? Does nobody like the little Mudblood?" Draco started laughing. "Why don't you shut it Malfoy and it's best if you leave now." Draco gave a disgusted look at her. "You can't tell me what to do Granger." Draco left the cabin and headed back into his own.
Hermione Granger, walked back to where her friends were sitting, sadly. "What happened?" Harry Potter asked with curiosity. "I saw Draco out there." Hermione sat down next to Ronald Weasley. "Nothing at all." Hermione gave a slight smile to show that she was ok.
By the time Draco got back to his cart, Pansy was long gone. "Thank god she's gone." Draco sat down by the window. All of a sudden, the train stopped. "What's going on? This stupid train has gotten old now." Draco got up and marched his way to the sliding doors and peeked on both sides of the archway. Then, the little lights went out. Draco got pushed away from the doors as they shut by them self.
The train got cold. The window started frosting. Draco got up from the floor and placed his hand on the window seeing something like a shadow coming near him. "What is that?" Draco sat straight with his wand out. "What is that?!" Crabbe was shaking. "Oh! Close your eyes. Then it can't hurt you!" Draco looked at Goyle with a confused look.
"Are you stupid? Just because we close our eyes doesn't mean that thing can't hurt us. Idiot." Goyle felt embarrassed for what he said. All of them were so busy looking at the window, they didn't notice that their door slid open by itself. "Uh, Draco..." Draco turned around and saw a mysterious black figure looking at them. "Look down!" All of them were shaking. As the monstrous creature left, Draco got up to see a bright light coming out of Harry Potter's cabin. "What was that?" Draco was confused as he heard someone shout something. Crabbe got up and looked out. "What was what?" Draco sat back down thinking he saw nothing. "Forget it."

Very later. (Almost the end of 3rd year.)
---------------------------------------------
Draco and his friends sat down in the Great Hall. As Pansy walked closer to Draco, he walked the other way and exited the Great Hall before she could come. "Thank god" Draco was thankful that he got out. As he walked upstairs, he saw Hermione Granger standing in front of the painting that opened to the Slytherin common room. "What are you doing their Mudblood!"
Hermione turned around and saw Draco running towards her. "What are you doing here. Move along Granger." Hermione went down stairs in a hurry as if she was hiding something. Draco didn't care anyways, he headed back to the Great Hall.
As Draco headed back, he was stopped by Professor Snape. "What are you doing out here?" Snape gave a good long stare at Draco. "Nothing Professor. I was heading back in right now. I found Granger wandering around and told h-" Snape stopped Draco at that moment. He didn't care about what happened. "I do not care Mr. Malfoy." Snape grabbed his head and pushed it towards the door.
As Draco walked in, he saw Pansy waving at her. "Great. I'm stuck with her." Draco rolled his eyes and walked over. "Crabbe. Goyle. Did I miss anything." Crabbe looked up with chocolate pudding all over his mouth. "Nothing at all. Where did you go?". Draco didn't want to tell them anything. "It's none of your business." They continued eating, by the time everyone was done, they all headed to their common rooms.
The next morning, classes started. Draco woke up and headed to potions. He knew he was late. As he pushed himself to get changed into his robes and walk all the way to his class, he saw Granger running to potions as well. "How could that Mudblood be late." he whispered to himself.
A few minutes had passed until he reached class. He quietly got into his seat. The second Draco sat down , his books made a loud thump on the desk. "Ah, Malfoy. Decided to come for class today then." Snape turned around and saw Draco and his torn books. "Detention. I will be meeting you today after classes in this room. If you are not on time you and your father will be t-" Snape was interrupted. Hermione had walked in with her book and papers all over the place. "I am sorry Professor. My books got all wet. I dropped them on the wet grass while heading here."
Snape was furious. He had a mysterious look in his eyes. "Detention Ms. Granger. I will see you after classes in this exact room, along with Mr. Malfoy." Hermione couldn't be in detention. Never in detention. Not with the rudest person to her. "But Professor." Snape cut her off. "Sit. I do not need to hear another word from you. Open your books to page 394."
As the class ended, she headed to the Great Hall to eat. "I can't believe I have detention today. And with Draco!" Ron laughed. "Good luck. You'll need it!" Hermione wasn't happy at all. "This is not funny ok. I am not ok with Draco around. He didn't even want to come to class! I wanted too and I came as soon as possible!" Hermione was furious. "It's ok Hermione. I mean, how bad can it be? Besides, after detention, we should head to Hagrids." Hermione smiled. She felt better. "Thanks Harry."
It was time. Classes were over. It was going to be the worst time for Hermione. As she was heading to class, one of the girls in her group for potions class ran up to her. "Enjoy your time with the lovely Draco!" She started laughing but Hermione's face grew with anger.
"Goodbye." Hermione walked off with all the books in her hand. As she got closer to the class, she got worried. Hermione had never been to detention before. "Hello Ms. Granger. Please take a seat." Snape looked scary. Hermione saw Draco in the first row of desks. She decided to sit as far away as possible from him.
"Today you will be doing all the questions from this textbook and create a potion to help you breath underwater for one hour." Hermione was happy with what work she was given but she realized that there was only one textbook.
"Um. Professor, there is only one textbook?" Snape turned around and walked towards Hermione. "As a matter of fact. Yes. You and Mr. Malfoy will share." Hermione's eyes widened. "Share? With him?" Draco turned around to see what they were talking about.
"Yes. You will share with him. Mr. Malfoy, please come and sit next to Ms. Granger." Draco had a disgust look on his face as he walked towards Hermione. "Pathetic." Hermione looked on her left and saw Draco staring at her with disgust. "Look who's talking." Hermione opened her book as she saw Draco mimicking her. As they started to work, she noticed that Draco was struggling with the questions.
He didn't want to ask for help. Snape was already long gone from the classroom. It was only Hermione and Draco. "Do you need help. I can clearly see that you can't understand these questions." Draco looked at her "are you dumb? I can do this on my own. Besides I don't need help from a filthy Mudblood."
Hermione stood up. "If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything!" Draco got up and walked closer to Hermione. "There is nothing nice to say to you!" Hermione didn't know what to say. Draco didn't know how to say anything. All they did was stare.
