Chapter 11

RORY'S POV

"Let's toast to the birthday boy!" Kevin shouts as everyone takes a shot, except for me. "Happy birthday." I tell Nick. He kisses me, pulling me close to his body. "Im going to go upstairs." I say. "Why?" He askes. "Im tired and this party is getting out of control." I say. "Why are you suck a bum? Why cant you stay and have fun?" He yells, having some people stare. "Your drunk. Come on, I'll drive you home." I say, grabbing his arm. He pulls back. "Leave me the fuck alone!" He shouts, slapping me. "Fine." I say leaving.

My dad let me live with him, because I told him I was staying at Nick's and every night Nick got drunk and would beat me.

"Hey honey, how was the party?" Hannah, my step-mom, askes. I walk up to her and hug her. "He...hit...me..again." I say in between sobs. "Oh baby, why wont you leave him?" She askes. "I try....every night. But...it's like he controls me." I say.

"What can i do?" She askes. "I want my life back. I want Kate and Nikki back. I want Aaron, because he always protected me. I want my virginity back. I want Tristen back. I want my mommy back." I cry. "I wish i could grant all of those but im sorry baby." She says. "Im going to be in my room." I say.

I take off the dress i have on and put one of Tristen's old t-shirt on. I put my hair into a messy bun and then grab my computer. I look at the photos of Tristen and me, we use to have so much fun. Its sad to know that I cant have him though.

"Can i come in?" Kali askes. "Im not really in the mood." I say. "Please, I need your advice and your help." She says. "Open." I say, as i see her appear. She sits on my bed. "I like this boy that is my karate group. I think he likes me, but how do i know?" She askes. "Does he smile at you?" I ask her, she nodds. "That's a good sign. What do you guys talk about?" I ask. "Karate, school and one time he asked if i like dancing cause he has a school dance coming up." She says. "Kali he likes you. That was his way of asking you to the dance. But you dont want a boyfriend." I say. "Why not? Tristen and you were such a cute couple." She says.

"Come here. Tristen broke my heart so I got revenge and broke his heart by sleeping with Nick. After Nick it was Luke, Tristen's bestfriend. I lost all my friends because what i did. See this 'T'? I cut myself over and over, because I love Tristen so much and it hurts that he hurt me. Nick is still beating me, but if i leave him he will continue beating me. Im a mess because of a boy, i dont want you getting hurt." I tell her, she hugs me.

"I'm sorry what happened to you. They're jerks because you're an amazing girl. They dont deserve you, but I hate to see you be so down. I think i know why you wont leave Nick." She says. "What do you think?" I ask. "You love him, more than you want to. You cant control what your heart feels. Mabey you should talk to him, instead of running away. Because thats only making the problem worst." She says, getting up to leave the room.

"Kali? Why did you ask me about boys?" I ask her. "Because you're gorgous and all the boys like you. I want to be as beautiful as you. You're my big sister, i look up to you. I love you, night." She says. "Love you too and you are beautiful." I say, as she close my door.

Who wouldve known a twelve year old can be so smart?

"Rory, can you get the door?" Hannah askes, I get up and walk down the stairs. I open the door and see Nick.

He immediately kisses me, I wrap my arms around his neck and he holds my waist. "We need to talk." He says, guiding me to the couch. "I'm definitely in love with you. I'm sorry for hitting you, i promise not to do it again. If i do,snap me out of it. Im going to admit at first i didnt want a relationship but now i want a relationship. With you." He says.

"I love you." He whispers, stroking my cheek. "I love you too." I say, kissing him.

Actually, I dont know who I love. At least i dont know who i love the most. I'm confused.
