Chapter 10

TRISTEN'S POV

I follow Rory to make sure she gets somewhere safe. "Stop following me!" She yells, turning around. "Im just making sure you're safe." I say, she sighs and ruffles with her hair. "Dont you have a girlfriend? Go see if she's safe." She says, starting walking again.

Why is she acting like this? This is the worst I've ever seen her and it's scary. She hates me. She's miserable, like she seems lost.

"Rory, come on let's go to my house. It's raining and you look sick." I tell her. "I dont want to." She says, walking faster. "Please, you're starting to get sick and where are you going to go. Also you look exhausted." I tell her and she turns around. "Fine. I'll just stay temporaily" She says, walking with me now.

"Here." I say to Aurora, giving her my shirt. She throws it on and grabs one of my blankets. "Where you going?" I asked her. "On the couch downstairs, I'll see you in the morning." She says, I grab her and pull her close to me. "Scared I might bite?" I ask her, she smiles and places her hand on my chest. "Move, you have a girlfriend." She jokefully says. "She doesnt have to know." I say, stroking her cheek and place a soft kiss on her lips. "Tristen, I cant. Sorry, Im not that kind of person." She says. Her phone starts ringing and i see it's Luke. She looks at me and then answers the phone.

"Want to watch a movie before you go to sleep?" I ask once she hangs up. "Sure." She says, crawling into the bed. I put covers on top of her and throw my arm around her pulling her close. "What did Luke want?" I ask her, she pulls away from me. "He got my message and said I can stay with him. So, if you or Olivia dont like me staying over here I can go over there instead." She says. "You two are a couple?" I ask curiously. "I dont know." She says.

We watch the movie and then Rory falls asleep on my chest. I lift up her sleeve and I kiss her arm and whisper 'Im sorry i did this to you. Im sorry for sleeping with Olivia when we fought. Im sorry for not being the best boyfriend. Im sorry for the bullshit i gave you. Im sorry for every mistake I made. Im sorry.' I cover her arm and kiss her forehead, she slightly smiles.

I wake up and look to my side and I dont see Rory. I go downstairs and she's not there but there is a note on the fridgerator it reads

'Thanks Tristen for letting me stay the night. By the time your reading this I'm probably some where you wont find me. Thank you for an amazing love adventure. I'll miss you so much even though I do still hate you. I'll be thinking about you, I love you Tristen.'

I call Nick's number. "What the hell do you want?" He answers. "Do you know where Aurora is?" I ask. "No, why? Is she okay?" He askes, quickly. "I dont know, let me call Gloria and see if she knows." I say. "Fuck! I shouldve answered the phone. Im getting up right now, we have to find her." He says, hanging up.

This is the first i've seen Nick worried about a girl. I have to say its suprising.

I call Gloria and she has no clue. I call Hallie, no idea. And then I call Amanda she said Rory talked about a forest or woods.

"Nick, Amanda said she mentioned a forest or wood." I say, once he answers his phone. Cherry Woods. She went there. When we used to talk, thats her place to escape the world." He says. "Alright, meet you there." I say, hanging up.

I make it to the woods and seems Nick and I weren't the first. Olivia's here,Zack,Gloria and Hallie. "What are you guys doing here?" Nick askes. "Humiliating this poor princess." Olivia laughs. Gloria throws a bucket of what seems like beer and Hallie throws a bucket of ice on her. "Come on babe, let's go." Olivia says, grabbing my arm.

NICK'S POV

I run up to Aurora and hug her. "I missed you like crazy. You had me worried." I say, she hugs me back. I take off my school varsity jacket and place it over her. "You can stay with me as long as you want. My parents arent home so it wont be a problem." I say, holding her hand and walking to the car.

"Why didnt you answer your phone last night?!" She yells at me, stopping. "My phone died and i didnt start charging it until this morning." I say, i was telling the truth. "I figured so I called your house phone too." She says. "I guess I didnt hear it. Im sorry." I say. "Nick, i needed you! You never answered my calls after we had sex, you didnt speak to me at school, you have been avoiding me. I needed you the most! I didnt want to step foot in that house with Tristen, but I had no choice really." She cries. "Im sorry, I'm here now. I promise it wont happen again. I'm here for you." I lie, but she doesnt know.

I just want the sex, her body is amazing. But i might have a tiny feeling for her. I dont like using her, but Im not going to be miserable and not have her as my side-chick. Olivia will always be my number one bitch. Aurora is just a back-up plan.
