She's Back

Chapter 5

TRISTEN'S POV

Now, I'm still at my aunt's house in bed with Aurora because she's not feeling too good. She's asleep on my chest and I want to get up but I dont wake her up since she isn't feeling her best. I roll over slowly and I get up and walk downstairs to make her some breakfast.

I decide to make some strawberry pancakes, eggs and bacon for the family. I start making the pancakes, grabbing the batter, pan and butter spray. I turn around and Aurora is asleep on the couch in my shirt which is humongous on her, but so cute. She's also in her underwear, I walk over to her and put a blanket over her. I kiss her on the lips and she flinches.

I finish the food and I sit next to Aurora on the couch, even though she is still asleep. I turn on the XBox and paly COD (Call Of Duty), I made sure the volume was low so I wont wake her up.

It's Christmas morning I'm excited for Aurora to open the gifts I gave. Every year the whole family comes together for Christmas. If one person in the family isnt here on time, no one opens their present until they get here.

I wake Aurora thirty minutes before people start showing up. I go upstairs with her. "Stay in your pajamas it's a family tradition. Just put on one of your pajama pants." I tell her. We go in the bathroom, she brushed her teeth while I fix my hair. After she's finish with her teeth, she washes her face. I put on my shirt and brush my teeth. I go downstairs to watch some movies before the family came.

Aurora comes down and curls up on my lap. "Merry Christmas." She says, looking at me. "Merry Christmas babycakes." I say, giving her a peck on the lips.

The door bell rings and I get up and walk to the door. "Ivan!" I say to my cousin, hugging him since I haven't seen him in a long time. I greet everyone else, it looks like two people aren't here yet. I escort them into the living room. "Guys this is Aurora, my girlfriend." I introduce them. Aurora smiles and waves.

"So, Aurora what do you like doing?" My grandmother askes. "Well, I like running track, dancing and playing softball." She answers. "What postion?" My uncle askes. "Fast pitching." She says. "Awesome choice Tristen, I like this one. Better than any other one of your girlfriends." Ivan says. "I know, I got the best." I say kissing Aurora's cheek. "It's good to know if I have grandkids they will be active." My dad winks at Aurora and me, Aurora blushes."Merry Christmas family!" My mom shouts coming down the stairs. The family greets her and my cousins show up, so now we are ready to open gifts.

She hands me a big box that looks heavy. I open it and it's a silver electric guitar! I've always wanted one since I was nine, but my parents didnt want me having one. "Thanks!" I say, kissing her on the cheek. "I'm so glad you guys arent that kind of couple, who kiss all the time." Ivan says. Everyone finished their presents, Aurora opened the gift from my parents (it was pink Adidas). I just had to give her one last present.

"Aurora, here's my gift to you." I say, making her close her eyes. I go behind her and place a heart shaped locket around her neck. She opens her eyes and looks at the locket, she opens it and sees two pictures of me and her. Ome when we were little kids and one that we took the other day. She looks at me and smiles, she hugs me and I hug her back "I love it." She says. "Anything for my girl." I say, kissing her forehead. "Anything?" She says, smirking. "Don't get carried away babycakes." I tell her and she laughs. "No more love talk, let's eat." My little cousin Lucas says

We all walk to the kitchen and Aurora starts walking up the stairs. "Where you going?" I ask her. "Packing, I have to go." She says, walking up the stairs. I follow her. "What do you mean you have to go? We just got here." I say, as she puts some clothes in her suitcase. "I have to go h-" She says, but then stops. "Nevermind it isnt important. Spend time with your family, I'll see you when you get back." She says.

"I dont want to stay here with my crazy family without you. Please, stay." I say, she smiles and kisses my cheek. "See you soon." She says going in the bathroom and collecting her stuff, I flop on the bed.

Aurora puts her stuff by the bedroom door, then she comes and sits next to me. "I dont want you to go." I say, laying my head on her lap. "I dont want to leave either, but I have to. Its for a good cause." She says, playing with my hair.

AURORA'S POV

"I love you Aurora." Tristen says as I'm in the car with Zack. "Love you too, see you in a week. Have fun, tell Aunt Sharlet I said bye!" I say, waving at the family that waits by the door. "Bye." He says, kissing my lips. Zack starts the car and we start driving.

~SKIPPING CAR RIDE~

I make it home and I change into my skinny jeans and red sweater. I have Zack give me a ride to the Children's Hospital.

"What did you and Tristen do, while I wasn't there? Did he hurt you? Do I need to sock him in his fucking face?" Zack askes. "No, he didnt hurt me in any kind of way. We went to a party where we both were almost killed, we kissed under a mistletoe-" I say, before I was rudly interrpted. "What?!!!! What do you mean you were almost killed and you speak of a kiss?" He askes, pulling the car over. "Some mister tough guys that ended up dead at the end. Oh and the kiss, Zack he changed. He cares for me, if it wasnt for him the other night i wouldve been dead. He wouldve given his life for me." I say smiling looking down. "He loves me." I say, now looking at Zack.

"As long as he doesn't hurt you, Im okay with you too being together." He says, i hug him. "Now drive." I say pointing to the road.

~SKIPPING REST OF CAR RIDE~

I go into the first hospital room and knock on the door. "Hi." I say, entering the room of a beautiful little girl in bed. She has blonde hair and a pink outfit, she kinda looks like me. "Merry Christmas Reyna." I say giving her a box with a bow on it. "Thank you,Merry Christmas." She says.

I spend about two hours doing this for all the children who cant go home for the holiday and see their family.
