I woke up and immediately smiled seeing Normani. Normani woke up moments later and her eyes met mine and she smiled. "I uh, didn't want to wake you and you seemed peaceful and beautiful so I couldn't help but admire you," I rasped out and she nodded biting her lip. "Your morning voice is hot," Normani said and I nodded. "You're dance moves are pretty hot too," I said and she giggled. Music to my ears, I need to get her to giggle and laugh more often. I had gotten up, with the help of Normani and she helped me walk to the bathroom. "I need to at least brush my teeth if I can't take a shower," I said and she looked sad. "Wait, I could give you one," Normani offered and I blushed and almost choked. "Uhm, are you sure?" I asked and she nodded. "I mean, if you're not comfortable with it, it's fine," Normani said and I nodded. "I'll just keep my boxers on," I said and she nodded and started the shower. Normani helped me take off my shirt and shorts. I sat down in the tub and Normani took the shower head and got my head wet with the warm water. The girls walked in and saw Normani bent over, washing the shampoo out of my hair. "I am in love with your hair," Normani said and I chuckled. My phone started ringing and Normani grabbed it and looked at it. "It's Sammy with music note emojis," Normani said. "Put on speaker please," I said and she nodded. "Y/N/N?" Sammy said and I chuckled. "Hi Sammy!" I said and she chuckled. "Hey, so um have you thought about that offer?" Sammy asked. "Yeah, and I accept it," I said and she was silent. "Wait...what? Really?!" Sammy squealed. "Sammy! Shush, and yes really, I already wrote a few songs," I said and she she squealed again. "Wait, you're gonna become an artist?" Dinah asked, scaring me a bit. "Jesus H. Christ, say something before hand or knock!" I said and they laughed. "Hey Sammy, I'll let you go, I gotta get ready and I'll see you soon," I said and she hummed an okay. She hung up and Normani helped me up and out of the tub. "Imma need new boxers," I said softly and she nodded. Normani came back and the girls where sitting on the bed Normani and I used. I took my boxers off and put my clean and dry ones one as Normani had her back to me. "You can look now," I said and she nodded. "What kind of outfit?" Normani asked. "I honestly don't know," I said and she laughed causing me to laugh. "Wait, I'm sposed to be on bed rest," I said and she giggled. "With the exception of little exercise," Normani said and I sat down, softly groaning. "You okay?" Lauren asked and I nodded. "Yeah, kinda," I said and she nodded. "We're gonna stay in Texas, but I think Dinah wants to stay with Lauren," Ally said and I nodded. There was a knock at the door and I got up and answered it. "Y/N/N!" Sammy engulfed me into a hug. "Sammy, ow! Careful!" I said and she pulled away. "Sorry," Sammy said and I chuckled. "It's fine, just be careful, I'm still recovering from an attack from some white-supremist assholes," I said and she giggled. "That's the Y/N/N I know! Fighting for women!" Sammy said. "How the hell-?" I said and she shushed me. "I could tell, because you've always been really old-fashioned when it comes to treating women respectfully, meaning you'll fight in their name if their honor or whatever is challenged," Sammy said and I nodded. "You right you right," I said and chuckled. "So, when yo Tongan ass gets all healed up enough to move and do productive shit, we're gonna record," Sammy said and I nodded. "So, what's new?" I asked Sammy. "Nothing much I guess, I mean, I did buy you something but it's a surprise," Sammy said and I groaned. "Tell me," I whined. "No," Sammy giggled. "Samantha!" I pouted and she shook her head. "I'm not giving in," Sammy said and I sighed, giving up. "I can never get you to tell me," I said and she giggled. "That's a good thing for me, because I used to almost always give in to your pouts," Sammy said and Dinah chuckled. "He gets it from the best," Dinah flipped her hair and I chuckled. "Sure," I said and she softly hit my arm. "Don't be mean to me! I'm your sister Tuonga'ane," Dinah said. "I know that Tokoua, it's called sibling love and rivalry," I said and she laughed. Dinah covered her mouth while she laughed and I frowned slightly. "Tokoua, you know I don't like it when you hide your smile when you laugh, I've told you thousands of times your smile is a beautiful thing," I said and she smiled and kissed my right temple. "Ew, affection!" Lauren and I said at the same time and we started laughing. "Hey! Does that mean that you don't like my affection?" Normani pouted and kissed her forehead lovingly. "I only want your affection," I said softly and she blushed. "I need to go, I'll see you later Hansen," Sammy said and I chuckled. "Later Gongol," I said and she chuckled and we hugged before she left. "So, were you two..?" Ally asked and I shook my head. "No, we're just friends, Sammy and I," I said and she nodded. "So, what are we gonna do since you're supposed to be on bed rest?" Ally asked and I shrugged. "Girls plus Y/N," Will said, entering the room. Jesus, they must have master cards. "Yes?" I asked. "You're all on a break, I'll call you all a week early for the next time we meet up," Will said and we nodded.

I was at Normani's house and she wanted me to meet her grandma, mom and dad, and also her little Yorkshire terrier. "Mom, Dad, grandma? I'm home!" Normani said and they walked out of the kitchen and hugged Normani. "Who is this young fella Mani? Your boyfriend? You didn't tell me you have a boyfriend!" Barbara said and I chuckled. "Oh...w-we aren't together," Normani said and I felt my heart drop. "You like her," Barbara said softly. "Come, walk with me, let's go outside in the backyard," Barbara said and I nodded. "I'm Y/N, Dinah's brother, by the way," I said and she nodded. We sat in the swinging bench outside and she took my hand, making me look at her. "I could tell her heart dropped when she said you two weren't together, I saw it in your eyes as well. Why don't you make her yours already?" Barbara asked. "I want to take things slow, I've been used before, and she's been cheated on before, so I want her to be comfortable," I said and she nodded, smiling. "I may not be alive soon, but I want to see her happy with you," Barbara said and I nodded. "I will try my best to fulfill your wish," I said and she nodded. "I'm going to take her out on a date tomorrow," I said and she smiled. "Does she know?" Barbara asked. "Not yet but I will tell her, come, you should spend time with your granddaughter," I said and helped her up and walked back with her to Normani and her parents. "He is such a sweet young man!" Barbara said as we entered the house and I chuckled, shaking my head out of embarrassment. "Already approve of him?" Drea asked and Barbara nodded. "I'm Y/N, Dinah's brother," I said and she smiled and hugged me. "I'm Andrea, but please, call me Mama Drea," Drea said and I nodded. "I'm Derrick," Derrick said and I nodded and shook his hand.

Normani and I were in her room and I guess it was awkward since she said we weren't dating. "Normani..," I said and she looked up at me. "Yeah?" Normani asked, fear evident in her voice although I don't know why. "I...uhm...was wondering if I could take you on a date tomorrow night. I mean, I totally understand if you feel uncomfortable and deny it and-," I was cut off when her lips were on my cheek, making me shut up and blush. "Of course I'll go with you My King," Normani said and I smiled. "Y/N?" Normani asked, waving a hand in front of my face. Fuck, it was a daydream? It felt so real..I wish it was. I looked at her. "Yeah?" I asked. "What were you thinking about?" Normani asked. "Nothing," I said and she nodded. She patted the spot next to her on her bed and I nodded, taking my shoes off and laying in bed with her. Normani cuddled into me carefully and I kissed her forehead. "Goodnight my King," Normani said and kissed my jaw. "Goodnight my Queen, sweet dreams," I said and she smiled and we fell asleep. I need to make her mine before it's too late, I can't let her slip away.
