I have never seen the beauty of the world since I was born. My parents were so devastated, yet they still took care of me....... not out of love, but out off pity. I was never really loved since the start. However things got worse every time I got to school.......they bullied me, and made fun of me in front of other students.
Things changed for the better when I met Takashi Morizono, the love of my life. He helped me when I needed him, was there for me when I wanted him too.
However things took a very dark turn. Everything was normal, however I had suddenly collapsed, Takashi had carried me to the hospital since it was near. The doctors told him why I had collapse, it was because of my cancer. Apparently the cancer cells had reach until my eyes and if it reached my brain I would die. Takashi without thinking twice told the doctors to have an operation on me. However the doctors needed a donor, Takashi told them to use his eyes, since the cancer cells would die soon after it had separated from the body so it would be harmless to a healthy person. The doctors agreed and soon started the operation.
~~~~~~~~ TIME SKIP~~~~~~
Where am I...... What is this place....
Huh? Why is there suddenly light surrounding me?
Then, I woke up.
"Ugh, where the hell am I?"
I heard a sound coming from my right.
"Ah, your awake."
I can see that... You thought sarcastically
"I want you to realize that you are know free of cancer. The reason you can't see right know is be cause we bandaged your eyes, new eyes to prevent damages." ,the doctor said.
"Can you take them off please?", I asked.
"i don't see why not."
He slowly and gently removed the bandage from my head. I opened my eyes and...... I could see........I COULD SEE. I was so happy I started crying tears of joy.
The doctor told me that could visit my donor since he was still at the hospital. He told we had switched eyes since the cancer cells had died and were harmless to healthy patients. I gladly agreed since I wanted to thank him or her for their act of generosity.
However I felt bad because in saving me they will have to spend the rest of their life blind. As I entered the room I saw a man no older then me sitting on the bed. But with one word I froze..... No, how could this be!? Why did it have to be you? Takashi... I started crying....
"Don't cry ____." ,Takashi said.
"T-Takashi, why did it have to be you!? Why did you do this!? You shouldn't have given me your eyes now you will have to be blind like I was before! If I had never met you this wouldn't have happened! Why did you do this Takashi? Why?", tears streamed down my face as I spoke.
" ____ come here." ,and I did so. He placed his hands on my cheeks and said,"Don't blame yourself for what I have done. You got that?" I nodded, his hands still on my cheeks.
"I did what I thought was right, and you deserve to see what the world is like. Though I may have lost my sight that doesn't mean anything-"
"Of course it does! Why won't it mean anything!? You have given something that might have costed your own life-"
"And it didn't, listen to me nothing will change how I feel about you blind or not I will always love you. Even if it means not being able to see you anymore.", Takashi smiled as he told me this.
"Takashi, do promise me in the future that you won't do anything close to this again?", I asked.
"Well, alright I promise."
"Good, because I don't want my Takashi to be doing this again."
"Your Takashi?", he asked.
"Well-I-um...."
"Relax, I am just teasing you alright?"
"Takashi! Why you little!.....hahaha"
And there you have have the story of my life and how I, a blind girl, was able to see thanks to Takashi, a tall and selfless guy, met.
