You and light have been dating since 3rd year of highschool. But soon after he went to college he started to distance himself not just to you but to everyone. He was always locked up in his room after school, only coming down to eat. You thought it was just that he was busy, he was but on a whole new scale. Soon after he started doing this, there had been massive murders across Japan and the world by some man or woman named Kira.
You heard the audio tape he recorded and figured out he changed his voice through some voice changer affects. You were striving to become a music producer, since you loved making music. So you plugged your recording into your laptop and started doing your magic. The easiest way to do this was to convert it back to a file were you can mix and match, sounds and effects together. You were able to but you were amazed at how he made it there were rows and rows of audio files. This isn't going to be easy. You sighed and got started on figuring this out, thank goodness it was Friday night when you started this.
It was Sunday afternoon when you finally finished it. You were tired and your eyes hurt from staring at the screen too long. You finally tapped the spacebar to play the audio and whose voice came out the file shocked you to hell and back. You weren't the least bit tired when you realized who it was, Light Yagami. Your boyfriend of 3 years was the one behind all the murders. You were appalled, speachless, and terrified. How was he able to do this? Is he working alone? Does he realize what the consequences are?
You saved the file on your laptop and went to his house. You lived relatively near to him so it wasn't a long walk to his house. Finally reaching the front door you rang the doorbell and his mom greeted you a hello you greeted her back telling her you were going to Light's room. His mother said she wouldn't be back until 7:00 pm, it was 2:00 pm. You thanked her and went on your way, your smile disappearing and hands getting sweaty. You knocked on his room's door, "Light its me _____, can I come in?" You heard shuffling and few seconds later he was there, standing in front of you with a smile. Haven't seen that in a while. You entered his room and sat down on the bed. Just as he closed the door you yanked his shoulders to face you. You werent smiling.
"Woah,(Y/N). Take it easy."
"You want me to take it easy?! How can I possibly do that when you were the cause of over a thousand people's deaths!?"
"W-what are you talking about? I never killed anyone, where did you hear this?"
"Easy, from this." I opened my laptop and showed to him. Playing the recording but stopping midway.
"Look what I found. I tried removing all unnecessary fillers and tried to find the main voice. Hear is what I found after clearing it up."
Light stares in horror as the recording plays his voice. He looked at his death note and you noticed. Before he could grab it you took it away from him. Barely even noticing the shinigami next to you, you looked through the pages. Names upon names of people were there, flipping the book to its first page, you read its instructions. Looking at it twice as you thought you were hallucinating. The book is his murder weapon? Finally looking around his room, you notice the extremely large shinigami staring. Right. At. You.
You dropped the book and stared at him, shocked,scared an utterly confused. Light noticed this and tried to grab the book from the floor. He managed to divert your attention but you grabbed the book once again. Light sighed in frustration as he couldn't get the notebook out of your hands. You looked at the shinigami curiously, never seeing anything like him before. With unknown courage you talked to the shinigami.
"Can you please leave us alone for a while?" The shinigami just nodded before leaving the two of you alone. You looked at Light, with an emotion you've never felt towards him before, disappointment. You were disappointed because he lied to you, killed innocent people, and he calls these massacres justice?
He's gone insane! You realized, you are alone, with a man who killed thousands of people. Fear and worry envelope you as you get farther and farther from your lover. Light notice your worry and wanted to stop you. Because as much as he wants to bring justice to the world, if the people his closest to are afraid of him, it'll be pointless. He took slow steps to you while you made small steps away from him. Funny how the one time you get to be with him, you find the biggest secret in his life. He is Kira.
