Ch. 3 - Tattooing the broken heart

When I awoke the next day, I found CC still here. He was sitting fully on my bed, with his cheek resting on top of my head, me still encased in his arms. I instantly felt myself blush. Had he been here the whole night? Oh cra-a-a-a-p! Ashley was going to do his nut if and when he caught us! But I didn’t want to wake CC, and ruin the moment. Oh bloody hell, I really did hate life at this point.

‘Rise and shine!’ called Andy outside my door.

He pushed it open and I shut my eyes quickly. He caught his breath when he obviously saw us.

‘Psst, Jinxx!’

I heard Jinxx’s footsteps, and him give a small gasp.

‘Should we wake them?’ he asked softly.

‘We gotta, otherwise Ashley is gonna go mental.’ Andy replied under his breath.

‘But, I don’t think I have the heart to do it.’

‘Alright, I’m gonna do it.’

I waied, but nothing happened.

‘I can’t! I just can’t. Look at the two.’

‘Alright, alright, I’ll go.’

I heard footsteps, and then someone was gently shaking CC, and so therefore me.

‘Ugh, lemme sleep.’ CC mumbled.

I said nothing, but snuggled closer to him, and his arms instinctively tightened round me, my heart soaring.

‘Oi, c’mon, wake up.’ Whispered Jinxx.

I felt CC start, then yawn. He lifted his head and I opened my eyes. I instantly went red again. Oh my god, why do I always do that?

‘Huh?’

He noticed me bushing.

‘You a little warm, SJ?’ He asked.

‘Err, yeah.’ I agreed, glad he had given me a good reason for my blushing face.

I always loved it when she blushed; she looked so cute and innocent. She didn’t look like a battle worn teen; she looked like a little girl again. I remembered her every Halloween that I freaked her out. I loved her in the little witch outfit, or the time she went as a fairy, or the time she was an angle, with her makeup done by Jinxx. I guess that’s where the inspiration came from for the song. She was a fallen angel. I felt dirty afterwards, attracted to a girl ten years younger than me. But now, now she was fourteen, I was twenty-four. We shared the same birthday. Surely, it was different now?

Either way, I didn’t want to let her go. I didn’t want to end the moment.

‘CC!’

Ashley came barging in. He stopped when he saw us. SJ started to shake.

‘Christian Coma…’ he said in a voice of forced calm, but I could see the anger in his eyes. ‘A word, outside.’

Andy held his arms out, and I regretfully passed SJ over. I followed, and Ashley shut the door calmly, and then pushed me so I was backed up against the way.

‘What the fuck do you think you’re doing?!’ he shouted.

‘Ashley, calm down…’

‘Calm down? I find you in the same room, on the same bed, asleep with my daughter, and you want me to calm down?’ he yelled.
