"Starting now, all of you will have a specific power!"

On that day, it was the entrance ceremony for the 77th class. All of the sixteen students were gathered in the gymnasium and waited for the ceremony by talking a bit.

Everything was normal, and the ceremony went smoothly.

Not until the end.

...

"So that being said, welcome to Hope's Peak High!"

The sixteen students clapped and smiled.

"So now... There's one last thing I have to say, and it's the most exciting part!" The headmaster named Jin Kirigiri flashed a smile to all of the students. "Just telling you beforehand, it is not a prank of some sort." He raised his hands and quickly dragged it down.

He suddenly dissapeared. Right in front of their eyes.

"W-What the!?-" Extreme shock struck upon the students. They all looked arouns themselves to see if he was hiding somewhere.

Clap.

Jin suddenly reapeared, but he was in front of the students. "Starting now, all of you will have a specific power!"

...

"H... huh?" Hajime was the only one to actually say something, because the other fifteen people were speechless.

"By the way, mine is a cloaking ability. I can pretty much make anything invisible." Jin smiled and showed a quick example by making the chairs with the students were sitting on invisible for a second.

"W-What!? That's crazy!!" A pinked-haired guy shouted. "So what's ours!?"

"Well, I don't know yet."

"Oh..." The guy sighed.

"Everyone has a power, that is confirmed for every one of you." Jin walked around. "I even have a list of the sixteen powers attributed to this class... But I don't know who has them."

"Then, wouldn't it be faster to just show the list to us right now?" A small girl with two yellow pigtails raised her voice.

"But it wouldn't be any fun, now would it?" Jin made himself invisible again and lifted up a poaster that was written 'Class trial', making it look like it was floating. "We will be holding class trials to awaken your powers."

"Class trials? It sounds like a sort of law court in a school or something..." The brown-haired guy exclaimed. "Which actually seems kind of fun..." He muttered.

"No, no, nothing of the sort." He exclaimed. "It'll be like mini tests to see what your powers are." He made himself reappear back. "When you'll awaken your power of some sort, we will tell you what kind of ability you have. Good luck."

Jin reappeared and led the sixteen students to a blank room. It was just a room with white walls and cameras.

"Okay, this is a testing room." Jin's voice came out like a sort of speaker. "It can shapeshift to any form we like."
