Komaeda had to shake Hinata to wake him up, since his repeated calls of his name didn't work at all.

"Hinata... Wake up..!"

"Nnh... nooo..." Hajime emitted a dead-sounding groan.

"We're going to be late if you don't wake up... it's seven thirty..."

"...Only? ...Doesn't school start at like... eight thirty?"

"... Do you rush in the morning?"

"... Yeah, I guess?"

"That's bad... You have to wake up to at least eat breakfeast properly..." Komaeda looked away. "Well, I suppose I don't have the right to say anything..." He walked towards the small kitchen.

"Nnh... might as well get up..." Hajime sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"I'll prepare something for you. You can keep laying in bed, if you want."

"I see... thanks, then." Hajime reached out to take his phone and checked out some stuff on the internet.

After a while, Komaeda called Hinata to eat his breakfeast.

"Wow, it's super good!" Hajime scarfed down everything in his throat.

"Careful, you might choke..." Komaeda warned him. "And it's nothing special, really."

"I rarely eat homemade food, so this feels so heartwarming..." Hinata smiled and kept eating.

"...I see." Komaeda smiled back and checked his phone. "Oh, an email from the principal..."

"What does it say?"

"Well... It says that instead of normal school work, we have to work on missions, alone or with a partner, up to you."

"Ko, you're definitely my partner, right?" Hajime smiled.

"Me?" Komaeda shrugged. "I don't mind. Ah, also... it says here that the key of contolling you power... uh... is 'emotions'? And it also says that 'learning to control your powers ia a crucial step before actually using it.'"

"... Uh, okay then." Both of them didn't really understand what that meant, but it's not like they could do anything about it.

"Okay, the first mission will be this." A speaker emmited Jin's voice.

It was already class time, and everyone was standing in a test room. On a wall, several big words were written.

Defeat the dummies, with or without your powers. Don't forget that hand-to-hand combat training is important too.

Hajime smiled. He wasn't half bad at fighting, and he considered himself to be pretty fit for his age.

Start!

A circle of androids spawned around the students and started to approach them.

Everyone did their best to fight them off, although some did better than others.

It took five whole minutes to get the dummies down.

Mission accomplished.

A notification rung on everyone's phone.

It had the details of the mission with a "1000¥" on the bottom of it.
