Riley's POV
I just finished some of the regionals paperwork and had time to spare before I had to teach A-troupe their choreography for regionals. So, I thought I would go visit James in Lost and Found. I made my way and what I saw kind of angered me. Leia, Rachel, Maggie, Annabelle and an unfamiliar girl were talking to the band. This unfamiliar girl was actually beautiful; she had a nice figure and long blonde hair.She was wearing a tight buttoned shirt, although her buttons weren't fastened and showed a lot of cleavage.She also had a tight black skirt on which just about covered her upper thighs.She was trying to get MY boyfriend.No chance.Just as she battered her eyelashes to James, I made my way and said "Heyyy guys!" whilst walking up to James and hugging him tightly. "Hey Riley" they all replied sweetly except for this girl whose name I didn't yet know. "Soo... whatcha doin ??" I asked sweetly whilst James pulled me onto his lap."We're just showing Megan around as she's new, and she wanted to come here and chat to the band" said Annabelle quite awkwardly. " ohhh okay" I said. Just as I was about to ask this new girl who wants to take away my James a question, Rachel pulled me towards her, off James's lap and to the other side of the rose room. Then Leia, Maggie and Annabelle came up to us two and Maggie said "Riley, don't get mad but Megan is flirting with James"
"Aha I knew it" I said angrily "Didn't you tell her that James had a girlfriend?" I continued.
"yeah" started Leia "but she kept interrupting us and then whilst we were showing her around she kept on insisting that we go see the band ."Just as I was about to speak I heard James say "Hey Riles" I turned to him and then he continued "aren't you coming here?" , whilst signaling his eye towards Megan, meaning that he wasn't have a good time taking to her. "Yeah coming" i said and then turned back to the girls. "So did you say that he had a girlfriend?" I asked
"Yeah, we did "said Annabelle " but she only ignored us by saying 'okay'"
"Then..." started Maggie, " she kept on saying 'ohhh don't you think that drummer James is sooo handsome'"whilst Annabelle rolled her eyes.
"Riley" started Rachel " I don't think she understa-"
But she was interrupted by Luke saying "Riley, your boyfriend is being tormented by that girl, she's keep on asking him out. He's telling us to help him but there's nothing we can do as she's ignoring us" started Luke getting quite out of breath "Riley, you're the only one who can help him as you're his girlfriend. Although, I can't see why she didn't understand that when James literally pulled you on his lap and you hugged him?" he gestured confusedly.
"Okay, that's it ! Nobody takes MY boyfriend away from me!" I said quite loud.
I instantly walked towards the remaining band members, Megan (😒) and MY boyfriend with the girls and Luke following me excitedly and said "Jamessss" and sat on his lap."What's wrong?" I asked him obviously knowing what's wrong.But to make it a bit more humiliating for Megan I asked Theo "Theo, what's wrong with James?" I asked pretending not to know.
"Oh it's a bit awkward" started Theo.I smiled knowing where this was going to go, so did the girls,Luke,John and surprisingly James who should have been finding this icky situation awkward.
"Basically, Megan here is wanting to go out with James, but as many people know James and Riley here... " gesturing towards us two "are a couple". I noticed Megan give me a dirty look, the girls noticed as they looked to me and raised their eyebrows.Ahemmm, first she tries to take MY boyfriend away from me , then when she knows that me and James are together, she gives me a dirty look! Not going to happen 😾
"Thanks Theo, but I get this embarrassing situation" whilst emphasising the word 'embarrassing'. "Basically Megan" I start and I can see everyones faces light up in excitement "James is MY boyfriend, I'm Riley his girlfriend. Nice to meet you!" I said whilst putting my hand out to shake Megans'. Everyone giggles and I can see James fighting hard to not burst out laughing. "Okay" said Megan whose face was red. "I get it" she said bitterly.
"Great!" I replied excitedly
"Now James, dress nice for the date tonight!" I said wiggling my eyebrows.
"Haha, of course Riles" he said hugging me tightly.
Everyone bursts out laughing as they knew that this annoyed Megan was embarrassed.I don't think that she's going to go anywhere near James now.Leia and the girls give me a thumbs up and I give one back.When suddenly, James grabs hold of my hand and takes me outside the rose room and gives me a passionate kiss. As much as I was enjoying the kiss, i broke it and said "James, what's with the kiss?" I asked sweetly but also confused. I wanted to know why he was kissing me. Like, I mean shouldn't it be the other way around as HE was about to be taken away from me by a selfish, yet beautiful girl.
"This kiss" started James "is thanking you for being defensive of me"
"Oh, is it ? Well I should be defensive of you more often" I smirked whilst putting my arms around his neck and him putting his arms around my waist.
"Yeah, you should" smirked James. "You look cute when you're jealous"
"Hoh, I was not jealous!" I lied blushing.
"You were, you also look cute when you blush"
"Jamesss!Stopp!" I said as I hit his chest playfully.
"What's up Ri? Am I too much for you to handle?" He said smirking.
"Maybe, I love you " i said whilst placing my head in the crook of his neck.
"I love you too Riles" and he hugged me tightly.This hug felt so special, I didn't want to let go..... 💭💭💭But then I realised, Rehearsals, A-troupe, LATE!
" Ohhh rehearsals!" I moaned whilst letting go of the hug
"Oh yeah Riley, but you're not that late" James said quickly
"Ohhhh what kind of studio head am I?" I said whilst quickly walking off.
"A cute one" James chuckled " and don't forget that date tonight!" He yelled as I turned the corner.
"I won't!" I shouted loudly.
"Great, see ya Riles!" He shouted back quite loudly as I was a few minutes away from the studio.
At least I have something to look forward to after A-troupe tell me off.😅
