Muggles have been killed, students have been taken away. The uprising of Lord Voldemort had began sooner than I'd like to admit. Just last week I had learned all I could from the book I had stolen from the library and now I might have to use some of the deadly curses I memorized. This week was our release for the holidays and some kids could stay at the soon to be empty school if they wished, which was what I planned to do seeing as I was not welcomed at my 'home.' In all honesty I think staying at Hogwarts is a better idea because my whole family might be whipped out by Death Eaters and I don't want to be amongst the bunch when and if it happens. So, here I am alone in my dorm at Hogwarts not doing much of anything. Bella and Narcissa went home along with the boys, Severus, Lucius, and Regulus. I was quite ecstatic when I found out that the Marauders went home as well, even though I was starting to actually...like them, they were still highly annoying and idiotic. I still don't know what came over me that day alone with Sirius and I certainly don't plan on finding out because whatever it was is long gone...I think. There wasn't any homework for me to do so I just sat, bored out of my mind with nothing to occupy me. Then I decided to go out and roam the Forbidden Forest because what's a life without a little risk. I dressed in more appropriate attire, oversized sweater, leggings, winter boots, and gloves, and walked out of the room to the outside. There I was standing at the entrance of the Forbidden Forest, which wasn't as scary and suspicious as it usually is at this hour, noon. Once I walked into the sleeping forest there was no way I'd turn back now. I ventured on into the thicket and saw a herd of deer running from the left of me. What were they running from? Why did I suddenly become scared? Is this how I'm going to die? Different questions ran through my head, but being me I didn't do like the deer and run I stayed put and waited for what was to come. Shadows. Blurs. That's all I saw black, blurry shadows rushing past me as if wanting me to follow behind, but once again I ignored the warning and stood as still as a medusa cursed stone. I soon heard hisses in the distance coming closer I wasn't gonna give this creature the satisfaction of seeing my fear and run. I was determined on coming face to face with whatever was causing the awakening of the forest. A man stepped into my vision nearing closer and closer until he stopped right infront of me still hissing an abundance of incomprehensible sounds. This man's body had a somewhat grey shade to it paired with ruby red eyes and two large slits where his nose should be, slithering behind him was an at least sixteen inch snake. The man looked familiar, but I couldn't identify where I had seen him, maybe a dream maybe the paper. I looked up at the man once more when he started to hiss something that sounded like a chant to which the snake hissed along too. He lifted his wand up at me and before I could react I was withering on the ground in excruciating pain. I was hit with the cruciatus curse for the first time in my life. I started feeling my skin get cut open and felt the trickle of blood down my back, arms, and legs. I looked up at the man from the dirty forest ground and saw his lips still moving, although I couldn't hear what he was saying, the pain inflicted on me was just that bad. My once spotless clothes were now slashed open and covered in blood and dirt.
"Tell that old Dumbledore that Lord Voldemort has returned," said the man as he took his leave. Was that Voldemort? How will I get back to the school? I was in too much pain to walk all the way back, I could barely stand up as it is. I decided to deal with the pain and I slowly lifted my weakened body to a stand and started my slow journey back to the deserted school. Voldemort was back and I was one of his many victims.
