Summer's POV

So I'm standing in front of my best friend, shocked at what she just said. "What happened?" "I didn't do it. The girls- they did it." "But you were headed to the park?" I questioned. She shook her head. "No, I was headed to an abandoned cabin in the middle of the woods. It has a beach behind it and I go there when I need some space." She explained.

I stood there. I felt my cheeks flush of embarrassment. The one time I think I know everything about my best friend and I really don't? I even thought she was a criminal? I'm a horrible friend! "Did you really think I did something wrong?" Tamika asked, obviously surprised that I, the person who believed in her the most, would think that. "Wow, so that's what you think of me? A criminal?" Tamika verified.

I was too surprised myself to respond. And apparently, to surprised to notice she had ran upstairs to her room and slammed the door. I started to go up the staircase when an arm stopped me. "I'm sure you've did enough. Let me take this one." Zack offered. I wanted to deny it but I was too tired and worried so I let him. He sprinted up the stairs while the rest of us bolted to the 2 guest rooms.

Tamika's POV

I rushed up the stairs and slammed my bedroom door. My best friend thought I was a criminal! Unbelievable! I had met out about 20% of the anger out of me before there was a knock at the door. "Come in!" I grumbled, still mad. That's when the door opened, revealing Zack. I had expected Summer, and by the looks of his face, he could tell. "Hey..." He trailed off. "Oh, Zack. I thought you were Summer."

"Yeah," He said," I can tell." He sat down on the bed next to me and opened his arms. I took in, his arms wrapped around me. "I know you're upset right now." I didn't say anything. Zack was right. He knew me better than anyone else, even my family. He could literally read me like I was a book.

We talk and talked for about 30 minutes. That's when my eyes started getting heavy. "You seem tired. You should go to sleep." Zack offered. I passed on it once until he said it again. "Fine," I sigh," I'll go to sleep." And I was out like a light.

Zack's POV

I walked out of her bedroom door and turned the light off. "You're probably sleep already, but..."

Tamika's POV

"... I love you."
