J ust another face in the crowd.
S tanding in the midst of it all, blending in.
E veryone trying to stand out, to one up each other, to one up themselves.
P ushing me to the side, my thoughts go unnoticed.
H ow am I supposed to stand out when my talent is nothing compared to the rest?
"J ust don't think about the rest."
I can't stop thinking about them.
"W ill you ever succeed in life?"
O f course I won't.
O f course I will.
B ecause I have you.
M aking me believe in myself.
S tanding on opposite ends of the world, yet we're raising each other up.
O thers may dismiss it, call it childish, call it a phase.
M aybe it is, maybe it isn't, but in this moment you've made me realize something:
I won't give up trying.
N ot while you're by my side.
K now me for me.
A name, a face, an individual.
R emember my name, my face, my thoughts, my contributions to this world.
D on't want you to remember me as another face in the crowd, so I won't let that happen.
