Chapter 24

~Bella POV~

Darkness took over. What just happened? I felt no pain. Actually I felt nothing. No. I just felt something, it was like me lying on the ground. Oh. I sank to the bottom of the ocean. I felt my body slowly hit the bottom of these waters. Now how would someone find me?

What happened to Nessie? Who took Edward and Ness? Were they even taken? Maybe Edward was just playing a game. Maybe I was daydreaming and we were really back in our meadow. Maybe we never went on this vacation. Maybe Edward didn't even have a sister. Maybe Edward and Ness really never got kidnapped. No, this was all real, to real.

I hope I get found. I just want to go back home, cradle Anthony in my arms, cuddle with Edward, and see Nessie cuddle and smile with Jacob. That's all I want. I can hear some fish swimming around. Well at least I think their fish.

Then someone grabbed me. I could feel their arms grab me. Was this the bad guy? It had to be, no one else was here that hadn't disappeared. I could hear and feel things, but I couldn't see anything.

I felt the cool air hit my body as I surfaced. "over here!" a familiar voice yelled. Emmet! It was Emmet! "it's Bella!" he yelled. I could feel him swimming to the shore. "she's as heavy as a rock," he said. Gee, thanks Emmet. "hurry up," Rose muttered impatiently. "I'm coming, I'm coming," he muttered.

"Here" he said and I felt another pair of arms. "what happened?" Alice asked. "I don't know, I was looking where Nessie said she saw Bella and Edward last. I swam around to see if I could find them, and I found Bella at the bottom of the ocean, motionless." Emmet explained. "I grabbed her and brought her here." "ok, let my check her," Carlisle stepped in.

Wait did Emmet say Nessie? He did! She was alive! At least she survived. Now I need to make sure Edward survives. Even if it means taking my own life, I have to save him.

"She passed out and the water sank her to the bottom." I heard Carlisle say. "how?" Esme asked. "well she passed out and had no control over her body, so the water entered her body, so she sank." He said "will she ever wake up?" Alice asked, "I'm pretty sure she will, but I can't be positive," Carlisle told Alice, "I think she can hear us but I can't be positive about that either." "Bella?" Alice asked, "can you hear me?" I wanted so bad to respond, but my body wouldn't move.

"She can't move, Alice," Emmet muttered. "Wait? Don't you have to get the water out of her?" Esme asked, "well, I can't. Her body doesn't work like a humans so she has to cough all of the water up." Carlisle said, "lets take her inside," "I'll grab her," Emmet volunteered. Once again I felt arms grab me. I was placed on what felt like a bed.

"Should we get Ness?" Esme asked, "yes," Jasper said, that's the first time I herd him talk all this time. "I'll get her," Rosalie said. Seconds later I heard Nessie scream. "Where?!" She yelled. Then I heard the pitter patter of her feet against the floor. "mom!" she exclaimed, she started to cry.

"I thought you were taken with dad!" I felt her hug me, I wanted so badly to hug her back, to comfort her, and tell her everything will be ok. "Can I call Jake?" she asked someone, "of course you can," Esme soothed her. Minutes later Ness told everyone that Jake would be on his way soon. He should be here in a couple hours.

~Renessme POV~

4 hours later we heard a boat pulling onto the island. "Jacob," I sighed in relief. I ran to him and hugged him. I started crying into his shirt. He rubbed his hand up and down my back, trying to calm me down. It did a little, but I was still crying. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He went to the couch and sat down, I stayed were I was, never wanting to leave the comfort of Jacobs arms.
