CHAPTER 12

Noong pagpasok ko sa kotse, my phone beeped. Chen, our class representative messaged us that we don't have first period. Sobang relieved ko dahil antok na antok pa ako at malelate na ako.

My car looked better since I had her checked up yesteday. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na malinis iyong kotse mo. It's a 2017 dark blue Honda Civic. I loved it. I used to drive our family car but my dad gave this to me on my last birthday, I couldn't be happy about it.

As I drove myself to school, I felt my stomach grumble. Dumaan ako sa isang fast food drive thru to get myself some breakfast. Habang hinihintay ko yung order ko, I texted Elle.

What to say?

"Good morning beautiful."

"Hi. Good morning. Have a nice day!"

Yan. Para casual lang. Wag too breezy. Kalma lang tayo Drix. Bakit ba ako kinakabahan?

"Orders complete sir. Enjoy your meal, please come again." Sabi ni ate service crew with a Rachelle on her nameplate.

"Rach-ELLE." I thought and smiled.

I grabbed the bag and immediately munched some fries and drank my coffee. Grabe gutom na ako. I have eaten everything before even getting to school.

As I arrived to school, I saw Freya walking towards me. She had her hair in a high-ponytail, she wore a plain white fitted shirt and I denim skater skirt.

"Hi baby. I was waiting for you."

"Hi Freya, good morning."

"It's my first day today. Can we grab some lunch later?"

Patay. I kinda promised Elle that I'll be with her during lunch.

"Ahh. Freya, magrereview kasi ako. Some other time?"

"No. I want today."

Hala. Paano ba to? I need to think of a way. Dinner na lang kaya? Dang it.

"Dinner?"

"Aww. Oo nga, I like the sound of that, it sounded like a romantic date. Sure!"

It's not a date but it's okay. I don't want to start my day with too much drama.

"Samahan kita magreview?" She asked as she clung her arms around mine and tossing her body weight towards me.

"Ah- hindi na. Wag na, medyo marami kasi akong aaralin. Baka hindi kita mapansin."

"That's fine baby. I can manage."

"Saka malayo yung building niyo, baka mapagod ka. I see that you're wearing heels as well so that's fine." I smiled at her.

"Aww, you noticed. Don't I look pretty today? and our dinner ha? Don't forget."

"Yes."

"Hatid mo ko sa class?"

I checked my time and saw that I still have a 90-minute free time since our first class was cancelled. I was planning on using those minutes to review and sleep, well mostly sleep, since grabe talaga yung antok ko. Kaso it would be rude kung hindi ko siya ihahatid.

I sighed and nodded. She clung her arm around mine a little tighter. Medyo clingy talaga siya. I walked awkwardly with her and as we walk through her building, a lot of eyes are on us. The attention that I don't really wanna have.

"It's Drix!"

"Is that Freya? So she's back."

"Are they together?"
