DRIX
"Can I keep you... forever?"
She just stared at me.
"I really like you Elle. Please give me a chance to show you how special you are to me."
There, I said it. Grabe sa pakiramdam pala kapag sinabi mo sa isang tao iyong nararamdaman mo. Para kang nabalutan ng tinik sa dibdib. Pero iyong takot, nadoon pa din iyong takot.
"I- I- don't know Drix. I- uhm." She then turned her eyes away from me. "Why me?"
"Believe it or now, Elle, I don't know."
She looked at me straightly. Iyong mga mata niya, nangungusap, confused. "Why me?"
Hinawakan ko siya sa magkabilang balikat, tinignan ko siya sa kanyang mga mata na tila ba ito'y naiiyak na. Feeling ko sobrang overwhelming nito sa kanya, pero para na din akong sasabog so kailangan ko nang sabihin lahat ngayon.
"This is new to me Elle. I don't know why but since the first time I saw you, I can't stop thinking about you, caring for you and looking at you. They said it's called love but I don't know. I really, really hope that you'll help me know what's this burning feeling right here." I said pointing my heart.
"Well, I am not the best person, Drix. This is new to me." She said with so much confusion.
"Me too. How about learning together through this?" Pointing at my heart. "Not through this, like how people usually learn." Pointing at my temple.
She smiled and changed her gaze upward. I thought she's thinking and she looked freaking cute.
"Bakit ang ganda mo?" I asked laughing. Maybe this can light the tension up.
"Ha? Baliw ka Drix. Hindi ako magan-"
"Maganda ka Elle." I held her on her chin so her facial angle are on me. "Sobra."
"Ah. Hindi ako sanay Drix."
"Well, masanay ka na. If I have to tell you everyday that you are beautiful, I will."
"Haaaa. Don't." She said restricting the smile forming on her lips.
I was making her smile. This was a good thing.
"So?"
"So what?"
"I like you Elle."
"Oh. Ah- You see- Drix, I- uhm... am clumsy."
"I know."
"I am lazy."
"It's okay."
"I am boring."
