I woke with a start. Confused, I checked the clock, and it was almost 2:30 am. I rubbed my eyes to see what had woke me. Some voices were coming from the living room, along with rustling, and other strange noises. Which was especially scary, since I live alone. I walked closer to the door, straining my ears to hear the conversation.
" What a strange new place! Ooh, look how creative the walls are! "
" Paige, there's a time and place for mucking around! "
" But look, not a spec of green in sight! Only a pure genius could have done something like this. Oh Tony, just look at it! "
" Paige! Goodness, I see the wall! There's no time for this! "
Two voices, quite different, we're talking about the wall I had decorated. That wall was meant for all my drawings and imagines, or if I just wanted to splash paint everywhere. I was extremely proud of that wall. But there was no green on it. I tolerated the color, but I didn't want to ruin my wall with it. I smiled, forgetting for a second that there was intruders in my home. One of the voice sounded very feminine, with a slight British accent. The other was a heavy male voice, with an almost, tick to it. I shook my head, I must of been tired. Men don't tick! I grabbed one of the guns I had under my bed, and quietly opened the door. I crept through the hall, and peeked around the corner to the living room. I stayed hidden, and watched as the two were arguing over my wall, the feminine voice, Paige, as the man called her, was just as feminine as she sounded, with colorful, messy hair and a white dress. The same squiggly drawings that were in the cover of the notepad were plastered on her dress, a thick red petticoat under it. The man, Paige called her Tony, was a masculine figure, with a blue suit and blue hair to match. Her was wearing the same bowtie the clock had, a little black one with a red spot, probably paint, in the middle. I didn't get a good look at their faces, but neither sounded like intruders. Tony grumbled and sat on the couch, arms crossed, as Paige started singing a little tune. I couldn't make out the words, but the tune was sweet. I didn't realize how hypnotized I was until I saw I was suddenly standing out in the open, two sets of curious eyes staring at me. Paige gasped, then smiled. " Hello! So you know who made this wall? " She asked as if I were a good friend she'd met years ago. I swallowed he fear growing inside me, and answered. " I-I m-made it, a-actually... " I said, just loud enough for them to hear. Paige's face lit up. " Wow! Really? Oh golly, it's amazing! " She said, running up to me. I was terrified she'd do something to me, so as natural instinct I ran over to the couch, completely forgetting Tony was there. I stood over by it, my back to the armchair. I backed up, forgetting the whole couch was there for a moment, and tripped over the armchair. I landed back first onto Tony's lap, he stated at me, his eyes like a deer in headlights. I quickly jumped up, my face turning a bright red, tugging on my hair as I did when I was nervous. I was so nervous, I guess, that I somehow fainted. Never having ever fainted before, I was startled, and right before I passed out, I saw Paige walk over to me and stare at my face.
When I woke up, I was laying in my bed, as if nothing happened. I smiled to myself. ' It was just a horrible dream.' I thought. I followed over and closed my eyes again, and when I opened them a second later, I saw to big eyes staring at me, right in my face. I jumped back and screamed, just to see Paige terrified, sitting up on my bed. " What happened? " She asked, looking around the room to try and make out what I had screamed about. " It wasn't a dream! " I said quickly. " Of course not! Why, Tony is in the living room as we speak, probably looking at the beautiful wall! " She said cheerfully. I nodded anxiously, worried about what these people were and why they were in my house. And why they looked really similar to the items I bought yesterday...
