Chapter 4 - White Swordsman

2:30 P.M. June 18, 2023

"(y/n) what's up" a guy with black hair says as he walks up behind you, while your sitting on top of a small hill

"Oh hey Kirito, im just enjoying the breeze" You say as a gust of wind blows you hair

"It beats listening to your girlfriend yell at people" he says as he sits down next to you

"That is does, that it does" you as hear some walk up behind you and Kirito. You lean back and look up at who it is "hi Asuna"

"Why wern't you at the meeting this morning?" Asuna asks as she taps her foot angrily

"Yea why wern't you at the meeting this morning (y/n)?" Kirito asks as he tries to sneak off

"Not so fast Kirito. I know you wern't there either. Now answers." Asuna says as looks down at you, because you were still laying flat on the ground looking up at

"I didn't feel as if I needed to go" you say as you lift your arm up and playfully poke Asuna in the nose

"Why did you do th-" she yell before you cut her off

"Because your even cuter when you get all worked up" you say causing her to blush

She doesn't say anything in response. She just continues to blush as you set up

When you get to your feet she walks over and gives you a peck on your cheek

"Are you doing anything thing today?" Asuna asks as she looks up at you

"I was going to go clear out a dungeon" You say

"By yourself?" Kirito asks surprised

"Of course" you answer him back

"Well what else would I expect form the white swordsman" Kirito says as he raises his arms and yawns

"(Y/n) are you alright" Asuna asks with concern as your happy expression begins to fill with sadness

"Yea Im fine" you say as start to walk away, but Asuna stops you by grabing the sleeve of your white, Armour plated, coat

"After your done with the dungeon can you meet me at Agil shop?" Asuna asks as she lets go of your sleeve. You nod your head as you walk away

Small time skip (inside the dungeon)

'I can't believe some many people came back to town complaining that this dungeon was hard' you think to yourself as you stab a imp like creature through the chest with your white single handed long sword

"Now this could be promising" you say as you walk up to giant door

"Yo (y/n) what up" Klein asks as he and his party walk up to you
"Hang on are you thinking about taking the floor boss by yourself"

You just simply nod

"I know Sage wanted to be like the white swordsman, from the story your dad used to tell you guys, and I know your trying to carry on his dream, but your going to get yourself killed" Klein says as he walks over, and puts his hand on your shoulder "I worry about man, we all do"

Klein points at his friends as they all smile and wave at you

"I don't need you guys to worry about me" you say as you knock Klein's hand off your shoulder, and start to walk toward the doors

"Fine if you don't care about how we feel, then how about Asuna?" Klein questions causing you to stop "how do you think she would feel if you died?"

You stand completely still for a few seconds before drawing your sword, and heading into the room

"Damn it (y/n), why won't you ever listen to reason!" Klein yelled as he and his party ran into the room after you 'I know you still regret not being able to save Sage, but you have people who still depend on you'
