Hint: Beth looks vaguely like Foxes but isnt her, simply a replacement.

Pov Casey

It had been a few weeks. Fall Out Boy were due to go on concert in a few days, the song they wrote with Beth is almost finished, and I am healing well. I am now out of the wheelchair and simply on crutches, finally allowed to move where I want. Patrick has been overly nice, making sure I have no problems. Its nice to have someone around like that. Beth has chosen her stage name too; Foxes. I laughed when I first heard it, Pete wouldnt allow her to be The Motherfucking Fox, so she chose Foxes. The tune to their new song, possibly named Yesterday is working well and they all jam to the song together. Sometimes Joe let me help him on guitar, taking Patricks bit. Its been a lot of fun, and they said that I should join them on tour, I agreed, what would I do if I didnt have them. Everything is getting better, when bad happens, good follows. I wonder how far I can push this good luck.

I limp on my crutches into the living room. Beth is leaning over Petes shouder, they are writing something down.

"Have a slur here on all... Like: all." She sings to Pete the apropriate parts.

"Then say: my love, in like a sultry way?"

"Yeah: all my love."

They sing and work things out together. I smile, they are adorable.

Every now and then I would shake, no idea why. Kurt must have messed with my head big time. I would wake up to the sounds of Jack and Alex screming, and Patrick, who has moved back into the bed, was there to tell me its okay. Alex and Jack are meant to visit today. We would check up on how we are doing. Im not particularly excited- its a bitter sweet meet up.

Joe knocks on the door and walks straight through.

"Jack and Alex." He says, pointing them over to me.

"Lets go somewhere more private." Pete suggests, taking Beths hand and leading out of the door.

"Hi." Jack is a lot more gregarious than when we last met.

I attempt to stand and grab them both into hugs. They tell me to sit, not to hurt myself further, and join me.

"How are you guys doing?" I ask.

"We are on this like massive break. We were gone for almost a months and we kind of needed time to recover." Alex starts.

"I am, well I was... I leave to tour with fall out boy in a couple of days. No time to stop..." I laugh.

"Its funny actually because we were going to tour around now... But you know how it is, I would barely make it a week."

"This is a slamming house!" Jack says.

"Its not mine, its the boyss apartment." I reply, "do you want a drink?"

"Please! Coffee?"

We talked for at least another hour, if not more. We caught up, and also learnt more about each other. Even though we barely knew each other, they have still seen me at my weakest. They had a tiny piece of me in a secret box. The guys talked about seeing their relatives and other friends again. It made me think about my parents, they probably dont care. I told them about the treatment and how the scar is probably permanent. They replied with something about it not being that ugly, to which I agreed. All in all, I became a lot more acquainted with them.

"It was nice seeing you. I hope you get better." Alex grins at the door.

"Enjoy tour." Jack adds.

"All the best to you too." I reply, saying goodbye.

I turn around on my crutches, walking back into the kitchen. I sit down at the table with a bowl of cereal. Andy walks in and grins at me.
