(I'm not a doctor and just made all this shit up. I don't actually know what medical people would do in this situation but I'm almost 100% sure that it isn't this.)

Dr Green helps me to sit up and coaxes me into taking off the blanket.

"Now Sang, I'm going to need to check you over if you need surgery or medication or anything. I want you to tell me if anything I touch hurts and answer my questions at the same time, can you do that?"

"Y Yes." I know that my eyes are extremely wide at the moment but I can't help feeling that he will help me even if I bite him.

"Now, how about we start by you telling me when you last ate?" He stands in front of me and gets me to sit up straight.

"I don't know when Dr Green, He gave me a meal last time I saw him but it has been a long time since then. I don't know how long." I am going to be completely honest with this doctor so he can help me, it's the only way I'll get better. While listening to my response he takes both of my hands and pulls them up on either side of my body, causing pain to shoot through my torso and me to pull away.

"Alright then Pumpkin, I've got you on the list of girls needing a full body Xray already, while we wait for your turn I'm going to get a drip into you and continue asking you some questions." He turns to the door and tell a passing by nurse to bring in a drip and a whole bunch of Science words.

"Wh What's a drip?" I ask, swinging my legs slightly off the side of the bed.

"It's when you need pain medication or are malnourished. It connects directly into your system so you can recover faster. Here, thanks John." He describes to me exactly what is in the bags that he is setting up and tells me exactly what he is doing.

Before he can attach it to me he is called by the Xray room and has lifted me into a wheelchair. He wheels me there and back, keeping a newly found smile on my face. Once we arrive back to the same hospital room it how has a few more gurneys in there partnered with a girl and a doctor each.

I can't believe that I never knew there were other girls in there. How could I have been there and not known?

"Alright Pumpkin, I'm going to put this into your arm, it might sting a little but it'll only feel a little uncomfortable after it's in." He shows me the end that will go into my arm and I nod.

"Wait Sean! You need to get her to change out of those awful clothes and shower. If she can't stand on her own we have some nurses assisting down the hall. That goes for you guys too" A random doctor pokes his head in and makes eye contact with the doctor.

"Of course! Can you shower alone or do you want me to take you to the nurse to help you? While you shower I'm going to go grab us some dinner."

"I I'll need some help." I mutter shuffling forward. Is it just me or has this doctor not done too much to help me yet?

He wheeled me down the hall where a bunch of ladies were helping girls into a room to, obviously, shower. Still not knowing how long it has been since I was fourteen and living with my family, I am insanely grateful for this opportunity.

I let the lady help me into the room and breath in deeply the smell of soap and steam.

Dr Green's POV

I've been trying not to over whelm the poor girl by going over her injuries out loud, but I've got a plan of action in my head. Currently I am walking towards the lift to go down to the cafeteria. Here they have nutrition packs set up for the girl's to eat for dinner. Some of them have been in there for years, including Sang, and that means that she isn't used to eating normal foods or in normal quantities. I grab a pack for her and bow of the nearest thing along with a slice of pie to share. On the way here I had assessed the Xray results of her and now I have a definite plan of action.

She had many unresolved breaks in every limb on her body and she was bruised in every square inch. I can't even tell what she looks like properly with all of the scarring that she has going on.

Since none of her injuries are life threatening, I have been ordered to feed her and help treat her malnourishment, as well as do some doctor stuff for the bruises and scars. Since some of the other girls have had life threatening injuries she will have to deal with the partially healed breaks until they are all stabilised.

I head back to her bed and place our food down on the table and her folder of results down. When she comes back I'm going to need to send a blood sample in and make her as comfortable as possible.

I left my phone at Nathan's so none of the guys can contact me, I didn't even let any of them know why I was being called in. Owen's going to be pissed, always preaching 'family first' and then I bail to my job. Well Owen dear, this is a lot more important then a pool party.

My buzzer goes off and I immediately go to collect Sang. She is in a wheel chair looking uncomfortable as a nurse chats with her. Rightfully so as well, she hasn't had much positive contact these past few years and now she is being bathed by a stranger. Hopefully having me around as a constant will help her since I'll be staying with her as much as possible until she heals.

"Hey Pumpkin, ready to hop back into bed? I've got you some food." I tell her with a grin. She needs to smile more to help her feel alive and safe. I want her to feel as at ease as she can.

As I push her back down the hall I realise her hair is a beautiful dirty blonde, and she has the cutest little nose. Now now Dr Green, this is your patient!

I help her onto the bed, painfully aware of how thin she is, how fragile.

"Here Pookie, here's your lunch pack. After this I'm going to need to take a blood sample to send in. Hopefully tomorrow all of the girls will be in a stable position so that we can adress the results of the Xrays. But for now, can I ask you questions about your family? We've searched the missing children records of the country and couldn't find you, so we need some more information incase you were reported dead or something else."

She looks at me with those large green eyes and accepts the food from me. She opens it and starts to eat quickly.

"Easy there Pookie, you'll need to eat slowly otherwise you may throw up. Your stomach isn't used to food at the moment so you need to go easy." She looks sad but continues eating at a slightly slower rate. I grin and pull a chair up to her bedside, grabbing my box which turned out to be some form of chicken and rice.

"So Pookie, I grew up pretty much locally, can you tell me where you grew up?" She looks up at me slowly.

"W Where are we? And what year is it? What's the date?" Her eyes start to water and mine widen.

"Pookie, it's alright! We're in South Carolina, it's 2017, the fourth of June." She blinks up at me, looking closer to tears then before I spoke.

"I wa- I am- I" She mumbles, barely containing her tears. I hand her some tissues and try to be as soothing as possible. She has probably just realised her age and needs some time to adjust to the face she's been there for six years.
