I wake up 4 hours later due to turbulence.
I'm not one to admit my fears. However in this moment I didnt care who knew. I was about to scream. I am terribly afraid of falling. No not hights, falling. Thats why I never jump on trampolines or sky dive. The more I fell into thought the less afraid I got.
That was until we hit turbulence again and the plane shook so bad everyone on the plane is now awake. Every one except Luca. He just sat there drooling onto his food tray.
Maybe I should wake him?
No! He should get some rest while he can.
On the other hand I really need to pee.
On the other other hand I owe him a solid from saving me from a death from fart poisen.
So I decided to leave him be. I pulled out one of my books from my bag to read instead.
The book I pulled out was Between Shades of Grey. I sat and read this book for another hour and just as I am reaching the part where Lina's birthday and the guy gives her his gift. I feel a tap on my shoulder.
I turn to give Luca a dirty look. Only to sigh and put my book mark into my book close it and turn to talk to luca.
"What book you reading?” Luca asks eyeing the title.
"Between shades of Gray."
"As in the "dirty movie"? I did not see you as one of those types of people." Luca exclaims as I give him my your stupid eye roll.
"No! Not even close." I exclaim continueing on. "Its a story of survival, Love, and heart break."
"Sounds ehhh, I mean its no Sold for Love" he says.
I scuff at his remark. Ehhhhh? No ehhh is sitting and watching movies that are just bad remakes of books. In this book Lina and her family is taken from her house and forced onto train cars away from her father. Her brother almost died if it wasn't for a pocket watch her mother traded for his life. She travels across country starving, and has to face pervs who force her to change in front of them. Then has to work all day for a piece of bread. All to protect her and her brother and mom. All while finding the love of her life. Only for him to be sent away and left alone to do it herself again. Now does that sound boring?"
"No, it sounds interesting." He replys with a smile.
"Exactly, why are you smiling?"
"Its just I found two things cute right now.
1. You, and your love for books.
2. The fact that you think movies are ehhhh movies. Movies can be awesome.
Mostly cause Movies are the best thing in life. It puts a picture to the story. Also its basically a book bit faster. " he claims as if he has read between shades of Grey and look at movies the same.
"Um no way the movies leave to many details out and pretty much suck in general. Here are some examples, paper town. The girl on the train. Twilight. mocking jay, they made prime death fast and almost as if nothing big has happened, the whole reason katness did all this was for her sister prim and the best the director did was boom dead and moved on, prims death got 5 seconds and rue got a funeral, riot, and a painting. shall I continue?"
"OK I see your point. However, let's make a deal. You watch my favorite movie and I read this between shades of grey. Then we decide which is better. Whoever caves has to do a dare by the other person " he preposes.
I thought about it before agreeing because there's no way I'll ever like a movie over a book.
When he pulled up the movie on his laptop I new I was done for. Endless love is the movie. I have a soft spot for romance darn him.
We spent basicly the next two hours doing just this. We both finished around the same time. Both left speechless.
I turn to look at him and he looks at me and at the same time we both said "I cave". So the rest of this trip should be interesting.
After we both filled up on air plane food and drinks. Which is super expensive by the way. We decided to do our dares.
We stared at each other for a while till I came up with his dare.
"Okay Luca, you ready for this"
"Please I was born ready princess"
"I dare you too, ask the flight ladies for some Liqur."
"thats so easy. I thought you were gonna dare me to like kiss a stranger. Your so innocent." Luca says as he calls the flight ladies over.
"Hi, miss can me and my wife have your finest adult beverage and charge it to my friend bill over there." He says recieveing a death glare from me. I ain't his wife.
"He you are." she says as she plops down some really expensive liqure.
We both down it and start laughing as we wait for Luca to give me my dare.
Luca gives me this really evil grin as he whispers my dare into my ear.
"Omg!!! Luca!!! Your horrible" I say as I get up to do my dare. There is No way I'm backing down. I am the dare queen.
I walk up to this guy and pull out one ear bud. ( my dare was to ask for his number but I took things into my own hands).
"Hi, my names Cassie(made up name just go with it) and....." I was rudely interrupted by him laughing and saying "not interested".
So I think he dereves a lesson. As the chubby guy (Tim) from earlier heads to the bathroom I get this evil idea.
"Look bud, I'm not intrested in you. But my dad (I point to Tim) is really into you. He told me to tell you that he's waiting for you. Just to give him 5 minuets for his Viagra to kick in." i say as I evily laugh heading back to luca.
All Luca can do is give me wide eyes as he watched that unravel.
"What? He had it coming. Thats what that ahole gets." I say as we make our desent towards Amsterdam our first stop.
