The next morning when you woke up, you had tears streaming down your face. You were also shaking, which you then realized.
You snuggled into Avi's shoulder more, trying to gain some of his warmth, and your shivering slightly subsided, as he subconsciously pulled you closer.
Without realizing it, you began crying again, regretting how you had lashed out.
"Baby, what's wrong?" Avi had woken up, and he pulled your head onto his chest.
"I'm so sorry, I'm so stupid, I know it wasn't my fault.."
He began stroking your hair soothingly.
"Aww, my baby, it's okay, I love you so much."
You held onto his shirt tightly, freezing cold.
"Are you shivering?"
You nodded, reaching your hand around his neck, putting it on the back of his neck, under his shirt.
He chuckled, and pushed you away from him slightly, before pulling his shirt over his head, and you quickly attached yourself to him.
His body was radiating heat, and you just wanted to hold him and be held.
He pulled your own shirt off you, knowing skin-to-skin contact was the easiest and fastest way to warm someone up.
You snuggled yourself up against him even more, and he caressed your back with his large hands.
You pressed a soft kiss to his neck, before burying your face in it, smiling greatly.
"Are you warmer now?"
You nodded, and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you, Avi."
"Of course, love. I love you. I am going to take you somewhere. I'm not sure where, yet, but I'm definitely taking you on vacation so you can relax, and you won't have to worry about running into them."
"Aww, Avi. That's sweet. I love you too, and you really don't have to."
"I know I don't have to, but I want to.. I need to. I don't think you understand how much I desire to hold you, to take care of you, to keep you safe."
You smiled at his statement, and he pressed a kiss to your forehead.
