It's been a routine, honestly. But I kind of didn't mind it.

Sometimes, when I think if Louis never took me, would I have found him anyway? Or someone like him?

Probably not.

Cause Louis was special.

-

"Um, Louis, Curly, doesn't look right," I say, carrying the tiny cat to Louis.

"Why? What's wrong baby?" Louis said, referring to me Inevitably, I blushed. Asshole.

"Her eyes are pink and she has snot and she's been sleeping a lot lately. Maybe it's allergies, right?" I began to worry. She was like my child.

"Ah. I'll take her to the vet," Louis petter her soft fur.

"Okay," I wanted to go too. But my limits were limits.

I felt Louis stand up from the couch and hug me, "Is anything wrong?"

"Um no," I nervously smiled.

"No, tell me. You have something on your mind," Louis insisted, his nose feeling my jaw.

"I... um," I tried to spit it out, but he was touching my neck too inappropriately, "would you stop." I pouted and furrowed my eyebrows.

He laughed, "fine, fine." He stood back, still holding me.

"I want to-" the phone rang, cutting me off.

"Wait, darling," Louis quickly ran to his phone, and answered.

I stood there, playing with my hands. What was I doing? I can't ask him that? What if he flips? But he won't. I know that, yet I'm scared. I shouldn't be, but I am.

"Yeah, no, not yet," Louis talked, "okay, okay. Bye," he hanged up rather quickly.

"Who was that?" Curious seeped trough me.

"Coworker, wants me to fill his shift. Can't though," Louis walked to me with twinkled in his eyes, "cause I have a family to take care of, tonight."

I rolled my eyes.

Wait. I don't even know where he worked. Was it intrusive to ask? Who I am kidding? He took me.

"Where do you work?" I asked.

"I'm not answering that until you tell me what you were gonna say before the phone rang."

I wasn't going to be honest. I decided not to.

"Oh, just, uh I wanted you to get new books ---yeah," I said, smiling.

"Okay, darling, anything else?," Louis questioned.

Can I go outside with you?

"Nope, just books and the vet."

-

"So where do you work?" I said, biting into the steak at the table. Louis sat across from me.

Curly had to stay at the vet clinic for further examination. I hoped she was okay. She was my little fur ball of sunshine.

Louis finished swallowing hid last spoon of green beans, "at a bank."

I giggled. "Really?"

Bank?

No way.

"Yes," Louis smirked, "what'd you think? This daddy CEO?"

I almost choked at that, "no, but a bank? Hard to believe."

"Well believe it," Louis said, scraping his plate clean. He stood up, "I'll wash dishes tonight, babe."

These pet names were a no-no. Flustered, again, I was.

"It's fine, I'll do it," I said, standing up, walking towards the sink with my glass plate.

I pushed Louis to the side with my hip, but he pushed back.

I sighed, "you're so childish."

"Why is it so childish if I want to spend time with my boy," Louis smile, his scruff complimenting it.

"Well, we'll spend time later," I said.

"Oh really?" That's when I felt Louis behind me, placing his hands on my waist.

And I felt something I didn't want to feel. I think.

"Later? What are we going to do later?" Louis whispered in my ear.

My cheeks and everything became hot. Red. Blurry.

"Uh," I wasn't denying any contact, so I just stood there, and washed dishes.

He wrapped his arms around me, and placed one hand under my shirt.

"Harry."

"Hm? W-what?" I replied, rinsing a cup.

"Answer my question," Louis locked my ear. The room was becoming steamy, and it wasn't the faucet's hot water.

"Sleep, definitely sleep later," I stammered, finishing the dishes I turned around and grabbed his hands, and kissed on the cheek, "goodnight."

And with that I ran to brush my teeth and hide under the covers. I hear Louis laughing in the hallway.

Bastard.
