The laughing continued, Kevin didn't know what to do. He slowly back away from the door afraid whoever or whatever in his bedroom was going to hurt him. He didn't dare open that door. The laughing grew louder and louder until it stopped. The house was silent. Almost too silent. He walked around the house making sure no one was in the house with him, he went through all the bedrooms, the bathroom and downstairs and there was nothing, he sat down on the couch confused. He didn't know where the laughter was coming from then. Kevin didn't think much about it, he turned on the tv and then after about 20 minutes of watching tv he heard a door creek open, he turned down the volume and looked around to see what door had opened. It was no door In in his sight, so he turned back to the tv. Then a door swung open and hit against the wall. Kevin jumped up to his feet and walked upstairs to where he heard the door swung open. It was his bedroom door that had swung open, he took a peek inside and he saw his whole bedroom ripped apart. He enters the room shocked because everything in the room is broken, he didn't know what had happened. He half runs out of the room and slams the door shut when he starts hearing the laughter again. No one is talking, its just a man laughing, he opens his door again, grabs all his money and clothes, runs downstairs to where the laughing grows louder, empties his backpack and shoves everything he had brought from his room in his backpack, ran out the front doo, grabbed his bike and ran off. He didn't dare to look back. He was afraid of what he might see. Kevin didn't really have any friends so he couldn't stay at their house, he found a nice little hotel a couple miles from his house, he decided to stay there the night. He checked in with the front counter, got his room key and went up to his room. He thought it seemed cozy enough so he set his backpack down, put the room key in his pocket, grabbed 20 dollars for something to eat and left the room ready to chow down something to eat.
