Mum? { Chapter 7 }

Niall.

''Mum?'' I ask my mother who was currently sitting on my couch waiting for me. ''Niall .. I've missed you so much.'' she says almost crying. She got up and hugged me. I didn't move. For the first time in 4 years I hugged my mother. I don't know if I should be crying or be mad. ''Niall my baby, how have you been?'' she asks smiling trough her tears. ''Fine.'' I whisper. ''What brought you here?'' I ask her. She sighs before sitting down on the couch again. ''Sit please.'' she says. I sit next to her.

''Niall, Zoë isn't doing very well ..'' she starts. What? My little sister Zoë? No please no. ''What do you mean?'' I ask her hoping she would go on. ''We just found out that Zoë has lung cancer.'' she says looking down. No. No please not Zoë. ''Your dad and I don't have enough money to pay her treatment. We don't know what to do anymore.'' she says some tears escaping her eyes. ''How much does it cost?'' I ask her. ''20.000 pound.'' she answers. Woah, that much for 1 cure? ''I'll pay everything.'' I say. I don't care about the money, all I want is that she's okay.

''You don't have to Niall really I do-'' my mother tried to say but I cut her off. '''Why wouldn't I?'' I ask her. ''Because after everything that happened. I kicked you out Niall and now you ju-'' I cut her off again. ''Zoë has nothing to do with the fact that you kicked me out. She's my only sister, do you really thing I would let her go just because you kicked me out? Of course not. To be honest, I'm glad you kicked me out.'' I say.

''Niall, I'm so sorry. I love you with all my heart, and I've missed you so much.'' she says. I could feel my tears coming. No don't cry. Crying is for the weak. I'm strong. Don't cry Nia- and I was crying. ''You kicked me out because of Noah's lie.'' I say crying more. She hugs me and strokes my hair. ''I know. I know the truth Niall.'' she whispers. She knew it? What the hell? How? ''How do you know?'' I ask her. ''Greg told me.'' she says. I love Greg. ''Mom, can I see Zoë anytime soon?'' I ask her. ''Of course you can my baby boy.'' she says smiling at me. I felt a strange feeling, I haven't felt in a while; love. '''Niall .. do you forgive me for my huge mistake?'' she asks. I hug her tight. ''Of course I will.'' I whisper. ''I love you mom, no matter what.'' I say smiling at her. ''I love you too Niall, just remember when I'm mad at you it's just because I worry about you.'' she says. I nod. She kisses my forhead and gets up. ''Mom wait, before you go .. how's dad?'' I ask her. ''He misses you. He smokes even more then he already did. All he talks about is you.'' she says. I sigh. ''Tell him ... tell him that I'm fine.'' I say. ''You know, he blames himself everyday for what he has done in the past to you. Niall, just remember although he never really showed it; he loves you.'' she says. I smile, and also get up.

''Do you want me to bring you back home?'' I ask her. ''Yes, you know what stay the night! You get to play with Zoë and .. and if you want you can sort things out with your dad.'' she suggests. ''Okay, I'll stay come on let's go'' I say smiling.

For the first time in 4 years, I'm going back home.

Amelia.

''I missed you a lot Brent!'' I say chuckling a bit. ''Missed ya too. Calum actually was supossed to come too but ..'' he says. ''But what?'' I ask him getting worried a bit. ''Well, you know his girfriend Jesy right? She's pregnant.'' he says smiling. Omg, I'm gonna be an auntie! ''Oh my gosh, that's so cool! How long?'' I ask him. ''About 2-3 months.'' he says. ''Oh I gotta call Calum and tell him congrats!'' I say grabbing my phone. I dial his number, and after a few rings he answers. ''Hello?'' I hear him. ''CONGRATS YOU DIPSHIT, WHY DIDN'T YOU TOLD ME EARLIER'' I shout. He laughs and I could hear Jesy in the background laughing too. ''Sorry sistah, but thanks.'' he says.

We talk for a while, before I hang up. ''Brent, do you want to watch a movie?'' I ask him. ''Why not, what movies do you got?'' he asks. ''Uhm a lot. Oh why don't we watch Mean Girls 2?'' I ask him. Brent loves chick flicks, which I find very strange but awesome. ''Yasss!'' he says happy. I laugh at his reaction, and put the movie in the dvd-player.
