Chapter one Birth Day Bash
"I need to pack Carla," I said from my room.
My best friend appeared in the door way with a worried look on her face.
She smiled at me, but I know what she really is..........scared.
Flashback to three nights ago.
I was at Carla's house, and watching a movie.
I was there with Carla, my boyfriend Cole, Carla's boyfriend Jason, our friend Terra, Jack who is another friend and Ashland.
Ashland Conners, the girl who has every boy wrapped around her finger.
The only reason she is here is because she had to come with her sister Terra.
Ashland is nothing like her sister.
Terra is nice and kind while her sister Ashland is rude and spoiled little brat.
We were celebrating my nineteenth birthday party.
I was in the living room with all of them except Ashland who was apparently outside on the phone yelling at a soon to be ex-boyfriend, but I wasn't complaining.
I was opening gifts on the couch.
Of course Cole wanted me to open his first.
So I did, and was in shock when I saw a pair of expensive looking diamond earrings.
He was smiling until he looked at my face.
"Don't you like them," he said looking at me with big blue eyes.
"I do but these must of cost you a fortune."
He smiled again and said sweetly," I would give every last penny I owned for you."
Even though it was cheesy I melted then.
Cole and I have been dating for about a year now and it has been the best year of my life.
I remember the day we met a week before we started dating.
It was a clear sunny day at the Norfork Lake in Arkansas.
I was with Carla in a cove when they pulled in with there boat.
They pulled up next to ours.
I looked up at Cole as he looked up at me and we knew it was to good to be true.
Love at first sight as he says.

I also received a cute outfit from Carla and Jason, a gift card from Terra, and a card with a fifty dollar bill from Jack.
Nothing from Ashland except she was about to give me the worst present ever..
