I heard a thud.
It was Carla, and apparently she over heard them and passed out.
Luckily I saw she did fall in the tree house.
I looked at them as they looked at me.
"Wait a minute,"I said confused,"what do you mean you're like me."
"We're werewolves," he said sarcastically.
"Do what now."
They looked at each other.
The other one said,"You've never turned before, have you?
"What do you mean by turned?"
"This is going to take a while," said the first one.
"First off, I'm Kai," said the first one,"and this is James.
The other one nodded and said,"Did your family ever mentioned that you came from Cherokee or Indian tribe."
"Actually I'm part Indian,"I said with curiosity.
"That is what I expected," James said.
The two boys looked at each other then Kai said,"I've never seen a girl wolf ancestor."
I looked at him confused.
"Alright, I'll tell you the story of the tribe,"said James who motioned for us to sit down.
"We did so and he lit a fire.
It was much clearer to see now.
"Ok"he started," two hundred years ago our Indian ancestors lived somewhere around the border of Canada."
Guess it's not the Cherokee in me.
"No you're Cherokee, but you are from a different tribe,"Kai said.
"You can here my thoughts."
"Yes, so try to hide them,"Kai said smiling
"Back to the story,"said James,"we were descendants from the Cherokee tribe."
"We were and still called the Wa-hya's which means wolves in Cherokee."
"We were called this because we have a spiritual connection to wolves."
"We always believed that they were are closest things to allies we had."
"They provided protection for us."
"One day, a enemy came into our tribe and destroyed everything."
"The chief tried to stop the enemy, but his brother was killed in the process."
"His brother, Lawaki, was a great hunter, and excellent warrior."
"When the enemy was destroyed, they found Lawaki's body by the chief with bloody knife and hand.
"The tribe thought he had done murder, but really he was starring at his brother in disbelief after he had sent off the last enemy and turned around to see his younger brother with a wound and he was shaking."
"He touched the wound to see how serious it was."
"Lawaki told his brother to kill him and take the pain away."
"Lawaki knew he couldn't survive the injury."
"With a heavy heart he did and he regretted it."
"The tribe took the chief and took him to the elder, and the elder told them,"He who has done death shall learn to love another kind."
"Therefor he was sentenced to live amongst the wolves."
